okay it's room 1065 anyone ever have this room?

We stayed in this stateroom on our first cruise Nov 4, 2004. The stateroom itself was nice. However we did encounter some sort of "loud" noise that sounded like some sort of hydraulics or possibly stabilizers, especially at night while trying to sleep. It was very loud and I shot out of bed several times in the middle of the night. I did complain to guest services, and they could not seem to figure out what the noise was coming from, so they sent down 4 sets of earplugs. Being on deck 1 did not present any problem with regards to getting from place to place and it helped to wear off some of the calories. We did rebook and when doing so did mention the noise we encountered in our current stateroom so she put us in one of the category 10 staterooms on Deck 7. Looking forward to our next cruise 7 day Western Nov 2006.

We were assigned this room on the August 28th 2004 Magic. Like the above poster mentioned, there was an occasional buzzing/humming noise. It did not interfere with our sleep or use of the room, and we would gladly stay on Deck 1 again. This was our 3rd Disney cruise, and we had previously stayed on Decks 6 and 7. The location on Deck 1 was great for port days as it made it very easy to return to your room after a long day. hope this helps.
