okay...I'm having a "computer-challenged" day....Can anyone help?

Okay...It's one of "those" days,....lol


You know the little thing that says:

Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 100 by 100 pixels or 3.9 KB (whichever is smaller).

What if there is an avatar that I want that is more than 3.9KB? How do I go about resizing it to fit? Anyone know?

There are a gazillion that I have wanted and I just can't seem to do anything to make the "KB" smaller.....

Hmm....I have Picture Premium 10 on my computer (not including paint, lol) and My Mom's computer we have PhotoImpression and various programs like that...Not anything very useful for this, I guess.....

You know, I was having the same problem, and I don't think we have photoshop either! And a lot of the avatars I want are tiny, but it still says it doesn't fit. So people, keep helping

first I say a resize is in order. make it several pixles smaller on each side (maybe 3-5?) then save it as a "medium-small" file. that will cut the KB drastically.

Okay, when you say "reduce the pixels..." Do I just resize it or if not how do I take pixels off? Then re-save it like you said?

resize will work. and I'm not sure how you should save, workign with what you have. I'm spoiled to photoshop.

50% of 100 is 50. a 50X50 avatar would be VERY small. I say take it down 3-5 pixles on each side. closer to 3 than 5.
