I bought me a Handspring Visor (a Palm Pilot thingy) and a modem for it. Now, I can check my e-mail wirelessly while I'm in Orlando. I'm totally ready to go.

What? Well, no. I don't have any clothes packed, or my car's oil changed and the tires rotated, or a map, or hotel ressies for along the way.

I guess I better take care of a few things.

I can't wait to meet y'all. I'm really looking forward to our Christmas Decorations Tour and the Tea.

Dayna, you goofball! Here you had me all worried that I had fallen behind on a few things since I wasn't ready...... It looks to me, my dear, that you have a few minor details to take care of first .

I'm right in the middle of PM'ing with Norma.....and I'm getting all stressed out about having to lug around my digital video/camera......it just won't fit in my new backpack purse. And I wanted to be hands-free this time. I'll see what I can do.

Tia, did you notice my new avatar? I decided since you keep calling me one I should be one. I know what you mean about hands free. I like when Alan lugs around the camera, and I can just worry about my backpack.

Our Digital Camera, and Digital Camcorder fit in our Fanny Packs. It was one of the main reasons I bought the JVC Digital Camcorder was for its Size...it takes great video too

I did notice your new title......very fitting!

And that is exactly what I am used to too.....Ed always carried the camera bag (he makes his 'purse' sort of ) and there's always a diaper bag hanging off of the stroller (which doubles as my 'overflow' for things that can't be squished into my purse )

Hey Tammy, you better not hang with me too often, I might end up hanging my backpack off of your wheelchair! What? Did I just say that? No. Couldn't be.

Oh, these little 'logistics' matters can really get me down.

Okay, I must confess something.....I've been sitting here PM'ing and e-mailing and posting like a mad fool.........but now it's time to get into the shower. I have a holiday bazaar to get to......and an ornament to buy for..........I'm not telling.

Funny, Dayna! I wish I could bring along my laptop................but I don't have one! (yet) We keep talking about it. Someday.
I have been working on getting my backpack down to a minimum for years. I get so tired of carrying around a huge bag of stuff. I keep shrinking the stuff I carry. My wallet, my ticket holder, a poncho, camera(s), first aid kit, and a small cosmetic bag with medicines, comb, nail clippers, etc. The only other thing I lug around is my pins. I try to keep it to one lanyard and add pins each evening after I turn in for the night. I would love to have a video camera for this, but mine is just too big. Maybe if I ask nicely, someone would make me a copy of their tape from the convention.
Tammy, you'd better be careful-everyone will want to push!

The only thing I have ready to go is my itinerary. But that is not really ready to go because I have to keep changing it to keep up with the Disney changes!!!

I'm with you, Jody. I haven't been the most terribly organized person the past few weeks. Even my landlady felt sorry for me....she mowed my lawn for me yesterday.

Tomorrow's projects: go to Sam's for stuff, go to St. Nick's for an ornament, call the vet to arrange for Bandie's boarding, work on the music for my niece's wedding.....

I'm amazed I have time to go to work.

Work? Isn't that a four letter word? Sounds like my schedule! I have to go to the grocery store, Costco, bring the boat to Dad's for storage, get some (sigh) work done at home, catch up on laundry and pay bills. Yuck!

But, on the happy side, I booked my January Disney trip tonight! 3 days at the ASSp and 2 at the AKL! Got a great Florida resident rate! (My parents livein florida part of the year!) Not Savannah view, but only $148 (incl tax) Yeah!!!

I updated my itinerary yesterday. I was keping it to a minimum until I saw the final details and now that it's getting close it's getting larger!

We weren't going to really plan anything for the 23rd when we arrive, but I suggested to DH yesterday that we could make PS for the California Grill to see the fireworks over the castle that night. Guess what...he perked right up and said go ahead and call. The fireworks are at 9:00 so I asked for 8:00 or 8:30 and was told they only had 6:30 or 8:45, so I took the 8:45. I figure if our table isn't ready we can at least go outside and watch from the observation deck!! I'm excited! We tried to do this when we down last September, but lo and behold they had something else going on and didn't have the fireworks. I was upset, but the dinner was WONDERFUL!!!

I just can't wait much longer! We've been planning this trip since December of last year and now we only have 18 days!!!!!
