I CHEATED this week!!!
Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned...
The FIRST TIME since I started this thing in January!!! Waaaaa!!
We had a table set up in Kroger for Seniors Day. Our Chef was demonstrating Healthy Down Home Cooking... can you believe that?... and was teaching the seniors how to make Chicken Creole the healthy way. While she did this we passed out recipe booklets and pamphlets about our community.
Well, right next to us they set up another table. This one is a free table featuring coffee and frosted CARROT CAKE MUFFINS!!
Yikes!!
This table was unmanned and everyone was just coming up and taking what they wanted. A woman took a look at the wares, shook her head and told me "Stay strong, honey, stay strong."
And strong I was... UNTIL....
When breakfast time was over, the workers came to take down the table and left the remaining muffins on MY TABLE! By now I'm weak.... and yes, I ate one.
I'm soooo bad!
I spent the rest of the day trying to make sense of the fact that the carrots were vegetables and the cake part had fiber...
Well that was Wednesday and I walked 2 miles Thursday and 2 1/2 miles yesterday! I've been squeaky clean on my eating hoping that I can making up for my transgression...
Okay, now I feel better.
