Okay--I give Up---What exactly is FastPass +

My husband and I visit WDW at least twice a year. Our last trip was in Sept of 2013. So much has come up with the new Disabilities Card and Fast Pass Plus. Last visit we had the new bands to pre schedule our FP times and we loved it--what the heck is FP+

That is FP+... The scheduled 3 electronic FP selections. There are no longer paper FP.

Thanks, but I'm a Goober. How does that work?? We will be staying at Shades of Green this year with AP's. Can we get the FP+ with that?
