I am counting four:
Magic Kingdom
Animal Kingdom
MGM
Epot

The reason I am asking is I have 6 day park tickets. I found two places I want character breakfasts and they are at Magic Kingdom. So then I could go there on 2 days if I have the count of parks correct.

You could buy tickets with hoppers, allowing you to visit those parks where you want to dine on the same day you intend to tour another park.

I don't have time to research now, but which is the better value - 6-day Base or 4-day w/Hopper option? Did you already purchase the 6 day tickets?

Does the 6 day ticket include water parks?

I copied this information from mousesavers.com:

Magic Plus Pack - This option provides the choice of admission to Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park, DisneyQuest, Downtown Disney Pleasure Island or Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex. Extra cost on top of the base-price ticket is a flat rate of $45 ($47.93 with tax). You get a set number of visits to the Magic Plus Pack attractions, depending on the length of the ticket you buy. The flat rate gives you:
1-day ticket 2 visits

2-day ticket 2 visits

3-day ticket 2 visits

4-day ticket 3 visits

5-day ticket 3 visits

6-day ticket 4 visits

7-day ticket 5 visits

10-day ticket 5 visits

As you can see, there is a big incentive to buy the longer passes, so that you'll get more "pluses" for your money. If you will be visiting the water parks and/or DisneyQuest at least twice, this add-on is definitely a good deal.

The Magic Plus Pack can be added after the initial ticket purchase. For instance, if you buy a 7-day ticket and decide on the 5th day of your vacation that you'd like to visit the water parks, you can add the Magic Plus Pack for $45 plus tax. You'll have to use the "plus" options within the original 14 days of your ticket's validity, unless you buy the No Expiration option. Such upgrades are allowed within the first 14 days (day of purchase plus 13 days).

Magic Your Way Premium Ticket - This ticket combines the benefits of the Park Hopper option and the Magic Plus Pack option. Extra cost on top of the base-price ticket is a flat rate of $80 ($85.20 with tax).

You'll have to purchase the MYW 6 day base ticket and then add on what I have in bold for you. :)

Hope I've helped!

Yes I have 6 day non hopper tickets. I don't really plan on park hopping for a meal. Plus I know in late Nov. the parks are not open late.

Wait it is Thanksgiving week will they be open later.

I have no clue I am so confused.

Not sure what the weathers' like there in late Nov. so maybe the water parks are out. But I could easily spend 6 days in 4 parks no problem. It lets you relax, without the pressure of seeing everything in one day. You might want to split Epcot & Magic Kingdom into two days. Also since you're going during a busy time, you may need to have two days at those parks due to the longer lines and crowds.

Yes, the parks will be open later during Thanksgiving week. It can get very crowded at that time. Make sure that you have PSs for at least one meal every day or you will waste a lot of time just waiting to eat!

To answer your original question, there are 4 theme parks. Those are the venues that would use the park day off of your passes. For $35 extra per pass, it might be a good idea to go with the park hopper addition. If you arrive in one park and find that it is just way too crowded for your taste, you can freely hop to another park. Without the park hopper option, you're either stuck at your first park and can just head back to your resort.

Disney has FOUR major parks: Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and MGM Studios.

They also have THREE water parks: Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon, and River Country (may still be closed -- not sure about that one). Admission to the water parks is substantially less than admission to the major parks; multi-day tickets often include "plusses" which give you one-time admission to the water parks.

Then they have SMALLER parks: DisneyQuest, Downtown Disney (not exactly a park, and doesn't require a ticket), Pleasure Island, the Sports-something-something. DisneyQuest is usually a separate ticket, and the others require a "plus" from your multi-day ticket.

What did I leave out? Regardless, the "best deal" depends upon what you plan to do, and it's probably not the same thing that I'd consider the "best deal".
