This was the summer I realized my oldest DS is not a child anymore. Will I ever get used to having a son old enough to shave When I hear his voice or the voices of his friends all I can think is " Who are all these men in my house?"



This was the summer I realized I have physical limitations due to my injury. I am still in pain from the fall I took at school in March.

went to DisneyWorld to celebrate my in-laws' 40th wedding anniversary.

spent a lot of time with my now 20-year nephew.

spent a week in the country.

lit fireworks all by myself.

celebrated my son's 6th birthday with two big parties. (One for his classmates and the other for the family.)

was banned from a website I posted on for the first time ever.

nearly lost my oldest brother.

helped another brother in many ways that I hope he appreciates.

grew my hair long for the first time since I became a mother.

went on a diet and lost 10 pounds.

I did much more, but this is enough for now. I believe this summer will be memorable because it was hot, hot, hot.
