Am I the only one addicted to Nickelodeon cartoons?

I'm 37 yrs old and love Spongebob, Hey Arnold, and Fairly OddParents. Do I need professional help? ;) ;)
(And I'll whap anyone that says yes! LOL! ;) )

That's so funny - I used to be addicted to Nickelodeon, but now my DD is 7 so she is into The Disney Channel, so now I'm into That's so Raven, Lizzie, Proud Family, etc. etc. I am just happy that I no longer have to like to watch cartoons!!!!!:teeth: :teeth:

My daughter is 10 and we watch all of the above. I find that while flipping thru the channels (when she is not there) I will watch those shows alone. I'm 34 so I will whap anyone who needs it, with you!

My fave is Sponge Bob.

32 here, no kids and LOVE Spongebob! My DH loves SB and FairlyOddParents.
Nothing better than sunday morning cartoons!!

If you need help Lauri, then add me to the list too!

I love Spongebob, Fairly OddParents, and Fillmore (disney channel). My kids love all of those, too. I can't stand any of the Rug Rats series, Hey Arnold, or Yu Yu Hakishu (sp?), all of which my kids love. (They really hate when I come into the room and point at DS1 and yell "You!" and the DS2 and yell "You!" and put my arms in the air and yell "Hockey Shoe!" when they are watching the last one. I get major eye-rolls and multiple shushings.)

Edited to add....they also hate when I ask why no one in the show is wearing ice skates, because I thought it was about Hockey Shoes?

I just can't get into those, no matter how hard I try. So, I stopped trying. ;)

I like the classics...Mickey (of course....and the new ones too) and Bugs, Tom & Jerry, Scooby.....

Oh, I LOVE Spongebob! :lovestruc Also like the others mentioned. My kids really like Fairly Odd Parents. There is a second thread about this going on.

Confession time....

Mid-thirties, female...and I watch at least 1 hour of Recess per day. Also have gotten into Kim Possible, Lilo and Stitch, Pokemon, Family Guy and some Japanese anime show I can't spell--Late night on Cartoon Network.

And hubby is addicted to Dexter's Laboratory.

---And we have no kids...

Do I need professional help?

No, amature help will probably work fine.
:duck:

A serious question though. Can someone PLEASE tell me the attraction for Sponge Bob??? It just seems so "stupid". What am I missing here?

Hi Crazelion I am addict to cartoons.

My all time favorite cartoon is Voltron Defender of the Universe.

Second one is Scoody Doo

I love the cartoon network Toonmai series. They show anime now on there and Adult Swim. I have known to stay watch cartoons for hours.

When Comcast get the Anime Network where I live at I get it. so watch anime 24 hours a day.

I used to enjoy all kinds of animation, but the more I watched, the more I realized I liked Disney the best. It's all I watch now.:earsboy:

40+ Adult Male- Likes Kim Possible, Lilo&Stitch, Watches Dave The barbarian, but mainly to see how bad and inconsistent it can be. Never got in to SB

I can recite most Spongebob cartoons word for word!

We have a DVD player in our van and when we had to commute 80 miles round trip daily we played that for our youngest.. over and over and over again.

I love Spongebob though and also like Fairly Oddparents, Jimmy Neutron, Johnny Bravo and Samuri Jack.

I asked my 8 year old to remind me what Johnny Bravos name was (I had brain lock) and he said Yeah thats right, hes the one who can't get a date! :p

I'm infatuated with Johnny Bravo (although I haven't watched hin in years, I think DH got jealous??)

He cracks me up and I've always had a thing for a man that could make me laugh.

Lisa;)

My brothers watch cartoons after school everyday, so I end up watching them, too. My favorite is Hey Arnold, and I also like Fairly Odd Parents and Rocket Power.

I used to love Spongebob, but now I'm kind of tired of it...my brothers still watch it, but it seems like they just show the same episodes over and over again.

The one cartoon that I absolutely can not stand is Courage the Cowardly Dog...I don't know why, but it just really irritates me!

My DH is addicted too
He and DD 8 watch Fairly Odd parents all the time
plus Disney Kim Possible and Proud family
