In the beginning of the thread you can see a picture in one poster's signature and towards the end of the thread, one poster posted a picture in her post. :p

Edited to add: you can scroll down and see ***********'s pictures! LOL!

Where's shep? I bet he could eat it! :p

Have you, would you order it? Could you eat it?!!!!

My sister and I went to B&C for the Kitchen Sink on our last trip. We had planned to eat it for our dinner, but let me tell ya....nothin' doin'! <lol> That thing is HUGE...especially for the two of us! It really was yummy and we enjoyed what we ate, but it's totally "for fun", not for dinner. hehehehehe

I have been trying to get someone to share it with me for a year. I asked at this DIS Con and I didn't get any takers :( I guess next time I go, I am going to try it myself. Believe it or not I can really pack it in (actually I bet you can believe it....lol) I'll let you know if I do ;)

I could never eat it, but I saw it this past week. I stepped in to Beaches and Cream to get malts for Stephen and the girls, and four different families were eating them. I didn't know they really came in kitchen sinks, too funny. They are sooo big. There's no way we could eat it, not really ice cream fans. It does look good, though.

Good Grief, NO! :eek
Me and both my kids together couldn't eat even half of that! It could be a lot of fun trying, though :p

It took 4 of us to eat one. :teeth:

Guilty, two years ago I took DD(14 then) and 2 of her girlfriends to Disney for "graduation" from middle school - we ate a whole sink! That was our dinner!:p I took pictures of the making and destroying process! That was such fun!! And yes, it is a MONSTER.

Oh, c'mon now!! That's not THAT big!! lol

I think I'm going to have to talk my dh and kids into getting one of them! All I can say is, YUM, YUM, YUM!!!

Thanks for that pic, ***********, I'm sending it off to my dh for a little cyber snack!! ;)

Oh my gosh ***********! That's hysterical! There's candy and it looks like whole cookies in there! They ought to call it, "In My Grandmother's Trunk I Found ..." ROTFLOL!

Laura, can you tell us, if you remember, what all was in there!

Last March, I and DD1, DD2 and DD's bf all ate one...almost all of one.
We had a small breakfast that morning and no lunch, when around 2:30 pm we left MGM to go over to B&C.
That was all we ordered. Even though we were all very hungry, we couldn't finish the whole thing. Ours included 2 twix candy bars and two other candy bars (can't remember what kind).
Also it had 23 cherries and several oreo cookies and lots and lots of those candied fruit things. Chunks of brownies too. Srinkles everywhere! It was really good but hard to eat. We soon started tuning the dish 1/4 turn every few minutes so everyone had a chance at all the different flavors:D

The menu just says 8 scoops of ice cream and all of their toppings. They don't mention the cookies and candy and pieces of cake that are mixed in. (Plus a can of whipped cream!) (oh, and cherries)

About halfway through, it really starts to look disgusting. I stopped when it turned to soup. It turned out to be cheaper then if we each had ordered a specialty sundae, but we did it to surprise the kids. They were busy looking at the menu, trying to decide what they wanted when I ordered it. Their mouths fell open and their eyes lit up. And they make a big fuss when they bring it... they flicker the lights and announce it to everyone. It's a fun experience, but once is enough.

When we were at B&C last August, we talked ourselves out of ordering it...

Instead we got two "small" sundeas and they were still huge..

We thought about it, but we didn't do it! Plus with all the chocolate, it would have been a challenge to pull it out so our DD could enjoy it.. (she had a stomach intolerance to chocolate, but it has now gotten better)

Beleive it or not, you could order that with a Quick and Casual Voucher! That item alone, not the drinks or the entree cost over the cost of the entree....

I'm impressed ***********!! :)

Next year Glo, a Kitchen Sink Mini Meet at DisCon! I'll help you! :)

I saw a family sharing one on our trip last month. It looks delicious, but it is definitely a monster. DH and I couldn't even finish sharing a fudge brownie sundae, because it was pretty big itself, but delicious....yummmmy!!!:p

It sounds like fun but unfortunately DH is allergic to nuts so it is a no go for us.

So, do you get to keep the sink?????

We thought about ordering it but we were hungry for real food so no ice cream this time, but last September we had the Orange Crush thing and it was wonderful!

We ordered one on our last trip (Halloween 02). It was DH, DS16, DS11 & I. We gave it a good try, but only ate about half!:D

DS11 had seen it on a previous trip and REALLY wanted to try it!

We went to B & C at about 2 pm, after the lunch crowds had died down. As it wasn't very busy, the CMs invited DS to come help make our kitchen sink. He was thrilled!!!!:D Kept asking DH if he was getting a picture of this. LOL! It turned out to be one of those "magical moments"! DS told everyone back home getting and making the kitchen sink was his favorite part of our trip.

I ordered the kitchen sink for our group of six as a surprise on our last trip. I tried to warn everyone not to eat too much, that I was ordering dessert - they didn't listen.

We didn't even put a dent in the darn thing. No, you don't get to keep the sink.

Unfortunately the picture I have doesn't do it justice, ***********'s is MUCH better - good closeup!!

The best part is the big deal they make when they bring it out. They dimmed the lights and got everyone's attention. Our waiter then proceeded to say "You've seen it on the menu, you've heard about, and you've wondered, who would dare tackle the kitchen sink? Well these 6 little piggies are about to try their best!" It was so funny :)

We used a quick and casual voucher too - great deal!

We ordered it this summer - just 4 of us eating it since one of my sisters was feeling ill. My dad insisted on ordering it because he decided that the price would be less than if each of us ordered a regular sundae. We came nowhere near finishing it! The whole spectacle was fun though. :)
