with the ddp? Like, you have seven nights booked, but with all the yummy food, you make ressies for ten sit downs, and eat way more snacks or something? This is our first time doing the ddp, and I hope I don't end up going way over, but looking at all of the food photos, how can I NOT??!! :cool1: YUM. Everything looks so good; I can hardly wait!!!!!!

there was way too much food on the plan! No way we could have done more! Even one TS a day was sometimes too much. The one day we tried to do 2, we were all sick!!

Honestly? HECK NO! lol

Joe and I are TOTAL foodies and have at least one TS for each day. I think three out of four days we have 2 TS. With our current itinerary we're set to use all food credits. We're one of those couples that make our park plans around our ADR's. It works for us and we have fabulous trips.

I hope yours is magical! :)

Even with one sit down service a day we felt like it was Thanskgiving each day last year on the plan. But we walked it off in about an hour. Looking forward to it again this year!

We usually end up booking an extra ts meal or two because we like character breakfasts. Even without the ddp, we had at least one ts meal a day, sometimes two.

We definitely went overboard on DDP. It wasn't even the snacks....we actually saved all of the snacks until the end and got snacks to take home with us. It was all the rest of the food....desserts, appetizers, entrees, drinks.....just ended up being too much food and being I paid for it ahead of time; I felt like we had to order and eat it. We enjoyed it but it was too much food; I probably would not do it again. Oh.....and we are big eaters too....it's not like we eat like birds.

Just bring pants with elastic bands for the last few nights you are in WDW:rolleyes1

I guess I am an atypical Disney guest in that I don't look at the DDP and ask, "how can I maximize this thing?" I look at it as a way to try some new things and enjoy our trip. For once, yes, I will admit that I won't feel like I have to share an appetizer with Gabby and compromise and not indulge my love of seafood. However, I don't feel that I will be compelled to eat the whole appetizer either. Just because a dessert is offered with a CS meal, I don't feel as though I "have to" eat it or even take it. If you are full, you are full....no need to go overboard, especially in the heat....I would puke.

Our plan was devised to go with the flow, not stick it to Disney. We enjoy and NEED breakfast and GREAT coffee, so staying at the Poly and dining at Kona is just a great way to start the day. I see this as the best possible use of our DDP credits, even though there are many of you that will cringe at my disregard for maximizing their value. Maggie

You do get a lot of food on the DDP but hey...you're on vacation!! :cool1: Enjoy! DBF and I are always saying we're going to waddle home from all that food but you end up burning alot off walking around. And I'll admit...we make our park plans around our ADR's also! ;)
