what was the longest line you waited in at any of the Disney parks?

For me, I think it was actually at Disneyland. We waited a little over 2 hours for Splash Mountain! Can't imagine doing that now! :teeth:

Probably BTMRR.. maybe 30-40 minutes.
Scratch that... Jungle Cruise... at least 45 minutes. That is one nasty queue to be stuck in. I remember every time it looked like we were getting close to the loading area the queue abruptly turned away from the loading area. It felt like we would never get on the ride. Most other lines I never really noticed how long I waited because the queues are usually themed well enough that there are things to look at and keep you occupied.

I cn't recall any specifics, but I do remember when HM was an e-ride - and garnered some of the longest lines in the park. WE used to hit it first in the am, to avoid the VERY long waits that would happen in the middle of the day.

Perhaps the longest we waited was for SPACE. It was even during morning EMH, when it was first new. We fastpassed TT, and then waited for SPACE. Everyone in the park had the same idea (riding one and fastpassing the other, since they are right next to each other). It was a pain, but it was pretty good that we did - at the time -since fastpasses for TT for the entire day! - were gone very quickly.

OMG! I forgot about the Haunted Mansion! I remember waiting forever in that line. :rotfl:

At WDW,we waited over 2 hours first time we rode. ::yes:: :goodvibes

Close to 3 hours for Indy at Disneyland shortly after it opened. (At least the queue was interesting!)

I remember waiting at least 90 minutes to ride Splash one time with my daughter! Never again! :headache:

Probably 45 - 50 minutes in the Jungle Cruise :confused3

Wasn't at WDW, but I once waited 3 hours to ride the Beast at Kings Island. :( Never again.

My family and I waited an amazing 2 hours in line for Space Mountain. I know now how crazy that was, but we got stuck in the line for 35 minutes due to a power outage....

Many years ago, we waited close to an hour once for BTMRR. After that, never were we willing to wait for anything for more than 35-40 minutes.

As a kid I can remember standing in many lines for who knows how long. Lets see I remember standing in line at BTMR, Space Mountain, Haunted Mansion and 20,000 Leagues. Then about 11 years ago when I went with my friend we waited for what seemed like 2 hours for Splash Mountain. I think about that as I am whizzing by in the fastpass lane ~ it does bring back memories just not sure if the standing in line was such a good memory. Gotta love fastpass.

We waited about 2 hours to ride Star Tours at DL right after it opened. I thought it was a great ride, so the wait was worth it to me, but I was only 18 years old at the time (just a dumb kid), and it was right at the beginning of summer vacation for everyone - mid June.

Now that I'm a parent with little ones, there's NO WAY I'd wait in line over 30-40 minutes with my kids, and for most rides I wouldn't even wait that long. Of course we usually don't have to wait much longer than that now anyways thanks to fastpass. :cool1:

We waited an hour and twenty minutes to get onto Splash Mountain.

2 hours in Disneyland Paris for the Indiana Jones Ride...but then my friend decided, she wasn't brave enough and we left....just as they asked us : 'How many people?".....Can't believe it that I didn't ride by myself...2 hours completely wasted.

Over 2 1/2 hours for Indy at DL the summer it opened! We then waited another 2 hours for HM. Now 30-40 min is my max...

Long waits that come to mind:

Waiting in the security line at Logan Airport (Boston), going to Orlando. (Thanksgiving 2001)

Over an hour for Splash Mountain (either 1994 or 1998)

Waited 2 hours for a Dollar rental car in Hilo Hawaii (don't recall date)

(This one seems most memorable) Don't recall the amount of time in each line. Usually I am solo so I can skip lines I don't want to wait in but this was with my family, waiting in the hot sun for Carousel of Progress, It's a Small World, and other attractions -- at the New York Worlds Fair (summer 1964).

Someone posted above that they would never wait in an X number of minute lines with thier kids. My cousins are like that. the kids had only been in the off peak times so they had never seen the parks busy than we went during presidents week and they wanted to leave the parks and go swimming becasue they had to wait. and this was after fastpass (my family would not get them said they didnt know if we would still be thier)
Point: yes its ok to say you wont wait in long lines with your kids but maybe they should wait that long every now and again you never know when the powers that be will decide fastpass is not worth the money it cost to run and stop doing that. I am not judging just a sugestion from my cousins experiance they wasted a lot of money being in the park for a short time just becasue thier were a lot of people their.

Just reminded me of my own "airport" experience. I was coming from Indianapolis Airport to Orlando last February and waited for something like 8 hours in the terminal cuz of a flight delay. The worst part was that I was alone waiting as my family was going to Orlando via LA.

During '86 when I was around 9yrs old, I remember that even with a 3-day pass for Disneyland, we still couldnt finish all the nice rides. We also had a hard time finding seats in almost any restaurant.

Fastpass is surely one of the best if not the best themepark innovation!!

I remember waiting for about 75 minutes for Star Tours when it was brand new in Disneyland.

When I went to WDW in 1999, the line for Test Track was close to 90 minutes long, so we opted to split up and go as single riders and got on in about 10 minutes or so and were in one car after another.
