Do you find yourself eaing to the top of your points range (high) on a consistent basis, or to the bottom of it(low)?

I use the top of my points range (25 pts) and save my exercise points for the weekend. Told ya I was a hedonist :p .

I know I lose slower than a lot of people, but I need to do it that way otherwise as soon as I feel deprived I'll drop the diet like a hot potato.

How about you?

I go to the top of my points most of the time or 1 or 2 below. Seldom ever use the exercise points. So then if I have a time that I really go over points then I figure all those exercise points I've saved could go towards that (although I don't think it really works that way since you shouldn't save points from one week to the next). Oh well, as long as I keep losing I'll be happy. It may be slow, but at least it's something I can live with.

I never use the same amount each day. One day I might be at the bottom, one day at the high and sometimes in the middle. I think it is good for your body to change it around every now and then. If you feel like you are depriving yourself, you are likely not to stick with the lifestyle change. I don't count exercise points nor do I bank my points. I just try real hard to stay within points and get my exercise in. You have to find what works for you that will help you want to change. Good Luck!

I do all of the above. :)

I am usually low on points 1-2 days, high on points 1-2 and the other days somewhere in the middle of the range. I also don't use exercise points or bank points.

Okay, just wanted to ge an idea of how others are doing. I am usually at the very minimum of my points range 6 days of the week.

I vary my points but try to stay at the low end. Right now I have a lot of points since I have a lot to loose so even my low end is a lot! :D I had one really hungry week where I ate at the top end every day and only lost less than a pound. I don't have the patience or the $$$ to keep going to WW at that rate!

I don't eat my exercise points and rarely eat my banked ones but sometimes I do.

Also when I get within 5 lbs. of going into the next point range I start not eating over the high end of the next lower range. I'm still within my current point range by doing this, just staying closer to the middle. Haven't been told to do that at WW and my leader would probably discourage it but I still do it.

Most weeks, I find I actually lose more weight when I eat at the top end of my points. As the weight loss slow downs (and I know it will ;) ) I'm going to try that unofficial WW "Wendie"? plan that someone talked about a couple of months ago. It varies the amount of points you eat each day, so your metabolism doesn't slow down.

Usually toward the bottom of the range, but some days I hit the top.

Wahhhhhhh! I can't read anymore. As the dinosaur says in "Toy Story" -- "Oh great. Now I have guilt!" ;) I'm not worthy. I'm not worthy.

Have to go drink diet Pepsi, eat popcorn and watch American Idol -- all while doing crunches and stretches to work off the points :p .

I usually try to stay in the middle of the points range but on weekends, somehow, I seem to always be at the max.
I do bank points when I know I am going out to eat or there is a special occasion coming up. And I do count on some exercise points.

I almost AlWAYS eat all of my points. I can eat the minimum if I really try and make an effort, but that happens very, very rarely.

In fact tonight, I had 8 points left. I wanted to try the new orange mountain dew with my evening snack, but the pop worked out to six points!!!!! So, I had all my points for the day, even though I could have eaten the minimum with a bag of 3 point popcorn, and a huge bottle of water! Gotta love those choices Weight Watchers lets you make!

I try to get to the max of my point range or at least no less than 2 points under the max. I was told when I joined to try to stay as close to the max so my metabolism didn't slow down. It must be working because I am at almost 15 pounds weight loss and I joined WW in April...just 1 week before Easter...they actually told me I'm losing too fast. Oh yeah I don't exercise and if I actaually have points left over I don't bank them.

I still am having a hard time believing that I could lose weight if I ate at the top end of the points. I sometimes don' even eat all the points, but I eat volume that day of things that are just lower points so its not like I am not eating. My DD (OhMom) says eat all the points, but I am having her read your posts that some of you guys don't always either and some are always at the bottom of the range. I do mix it up some, but I just am not secure enough yet that I won't "fall off the wagon" if I eat at the top, so I stay secure in mostly the lower end.

Never count my exercise, too much to lose and want to get there sooner. I am feeling so much better with the 14 lb off that I think wow with another 30 gone I will be feeling so chic!!

I mostly eat at the high end of my points range, if there are any points left it is only 3 or less, but most days it is usually one or none. My reason behind that is I don't like to feel deprived and when I eat at the low end of my points I feel deprived. I want this to be a lifestyle change and I don't think, for me any way, that I could stay as committed as I have if I ate at the low end. The weight comes off slower at this rate, but I figure the slower it comes off the better chance I have of keeping it off. I just completed my 12th week yesterday and I have lost 24 pounds, which averages out to 2 pounds a week, I can't complain with the results.

It's so interesting to read everyone's replies. I was looking through my journal and there really isn't a pattern; I'm all over the place in my points range. I do see that I tend to go over just a bit on weekends. :o However, I almost always have a bunch of banked points to use so I guess that's not so bad.

I'm trying to remember though -- what was the limit of banked points you can use -- 10? Oh, and as far as exercise points, I never eat or bank 'em.
