OK why aren't YOU registered yet???

OK, here is the deal...I think that people now have two great options for DIS Con...the full events package for $225 and the weekend package for $125.

Well, what are you waiting for??? There is nothing like the official events. You may think that the mini-meets are great, and they are, BUT they can not compare to the official ones. At the official ones we are all together. All the DISers in one place, meeting eachother, talking, drinking, enjoying eachothers company. You won't get that anyother way.

YOu miss out on the great events...

THe crowning event being the Illuminations Dessert party. How many of you have ever done Illuminations with a group that big? Or with fancy desserts in your own uncrowded viewing area?

How about breakfast with your friends, and going table to table meeting and learning about eachother.

Then there is the dinner...this year way cool...on the beach at the Swan...

I am considering going but in my line of work, December can be a bear if I have any deals that have to close by year end. What is the latest that you could register? I know that the room rate would not be available.

I read that Oct 1 was a date for final numbers. If you are going to register please do so soon.

We had our hearts set on going but now I think we had better stay home. My 9 year old nephew was recently diagnosed with cancer and the little guy is not tolerating his chemo well. We have decided to take the money and help my brother with the bills.
I was really looking forward to coming. I had the best time last year. I would go in a heartbeat if I could. Floyd hasn't cancelled our ressies yet because he thinks we will win the lottery or something. I will miss you all.

My son made the cut for the Teen Tournament on Jeopardy. We will not know if he is one of the 15 constestants for the tournament until mid-November. The Teen Tournament would be filmed in mid-December and so there would be no way to do both DIS-CON and Jeopardy. If my son makes the Tournament for Jeopardy, there is no question which we would do.

I can get a room through the DVC or AP discounts and so would not be looking for a room if we went to Dis-con. What is the latest one could register for Dis-Con? I understand if Dis-Con can not accomadate this schedule but would like to make it if we could (my birthday falls in during DIS-CON).
