I know, I need a life:)

Keep the snow there, after we head for WDW in February, it can snow all it wants!! LOL!

:sunny:

Ducklite,
I hope you make it home safely. We live just north of London and my kids stayed home today. We're not going anywhere in this stuff. When we were in WDW in October we got to be in the outer part of the hurricane. Kinda neat, but you can keep them.

Stay safe.

But it's purrrrty! Stay safe, Anne! It will be much different tomorrow, I'm sure.

It'll be green grass again tomorrow - have no fear!

Ahhh, snow. The first time I see it on the ground during the winter season makes me wish I had a place to live down in the sunny weather. Truthfully though, if we only got to -10, I would be ok with that. It's when we get to the -40 garbage that I hate living here (you know, when you have to leave your car warming up for like 30 minutes before you can drive it). And, you know it's inevitable - it's going to happen. And it will be on the day when I have a final exam or an interview, or on a day that I cannot stay wrapped in a blanket in my warm home in front of the fireplace. Every time. I love being Canadian, but sometimes, I wish I worked in Hawaii.

Hi Anne. Hope you made it home safe and sound. Kinda had to laugh at your post ... I'm from London, and while this storm hit, I was at WDW ! :teeth: We did come home however to over a foot of snow in the driveway

Hi everyone! Made it back to my palm trees safe and sound. Apparantly the 401 was closed because a beer tanker jackknifed and hit a bus with a hockey team from newmarket on it. Hope they are all OK--I heard one player was pretty badly injured.

The conditions were terrible--we drove to Sarnia Friday night and went through a couple pretty bad squalls on the way--just cold and flurries on the return to London.

Holed up in our room at the Hilton all day Saturday--had breakfast at the hotel and ordered room service for dinner--talk about lazy! Went out with friends Saturday night, it actually seemed to warm up a bit--or maybe I was just getting used to it LOL! We were supposed to send the day with them, but they got stuck in bad weather on their way to London Friday and didn't make it until later Saturday afternoon.

Left Sunday morning to more flurries--my original flight out of BUF was delayed--probably would be cancelled, I got to the airport very early luckily, and they gave me one of the last seats on the delayed earlier flight to PHL that was leaving at the same time my original flight should have. Bottom line, I got back to Orlando at the time I was supposed to.

I love Canada, but I'm not going back in the winter. Didn't I say that after New Years Even in Winnipeg a few couple ago??

BTW--the hospitality shown to us by the Canadians was remarkable. I think they took pity on us when they saw the FLorida license plate on the car LOL!
