ok, Where do I head first....

It's Thursday, August 12th, 1/2hour before opening time waiting for DCA to open. When the gates open do I run towards TOT or Soaring. Who has the longest lines first thing in the morning and where do I go from there? Any input would be greatly appriciated. Thanks, Gina

This was our experience in June which may or may not be the case when you go! TOT had a surge of people going there first thing. Everybody seemed to head down Hollywood Blvd. at Rope Drop. However, Soarin seemed to have longer lines later in the day. We did Soarin first then fastpassed TOT for later. TOT lines never seemed to get above 45 minutes, Soarin I saw go as high at 75 the two days we visited DCA. When in doubt just go the opposite way everybody else does then fastpass the other thing for later!

I'd also say to head for Soarin' first, then go check out TOT. If the line is still short enough, ride it. If not, get a Fastpass.

On 7-10, a saturday, my son and I got to TOT at I want to say 11am(we hit GRR first! LOL)and the line for TOT was only 25 minutes! So defintely hit Soarin' first!

The line for ToT seems to get pretty short later in the day. In any case I would go over to Soarin' and get a fastpass and then amble over to ToT allowing it to absorb the initial crowd. You can then ride ToT and go back for Soarin with your Fast Pass.
