I figure you can use them for wet clothes, but what else do you need them for??Any ideas

Hi,

You also need them for any carry-on liquids, which must be three ounces or less and in a Ziploc bag.

Use them for your wallet, cell phone, etc. when on Splash Mountain, Kali River Rapids...

Use gallon sizes to pack daily outfits for the kids so that they can dress themselves!!

---Carry snack items.

---Carry your small digital camera in them if you are planning to get really wet or visit the water parks. (I try to put a few dessicator packs in with mine for the humidity)

---We divide up the kids souvenir money into bags also.

---Put a frozen washcloth in one to use later in the heat of the parks. Great cool down and clean up for kids.

---I alway had a few on hand for diaper disposal.

The possibilities are endless.

I saw a tv report once that the dirtiest thing in your hotel room was the television remote control. The broadcast suggested putting the remote in a baggy when using it.

I use ziploc baggies for packing. I put a whole outfit - shirt, bottoms, hair things, underwear and socks included - in the bag, remove the air and put in the suitcase. Makes it easy for DH to dress DD in the morning.

Also good if you have a wet bathing suit the day you go home, so you can put your wet things in the bag and keep everything else dry.

We always carry extra so we can take any uneaten food from the restaurants with us (grapes the kids didn't eat, 1/2 a cookie, etc.)

We also use them in the diaper bag to group things -makes it so much easier than searching through the whole bag. For example, I put liquid hand soap, kleenex and antibacterial wipes in a bag, snacks in a bag and diaper stuff in a bag.

It works really well with the diaper stuff when you have to run in to change - you've got a few diapers, wipes, a changing pad and disposal bags all in one baggie and you can grab it and go without taking the whole diaper bag.

From one clean freak, :worship:

Speaking of clean freaks... I don't travel without my container of Clorox or Lysol wipes. I don't let my husband touch anything in the room until I wipe down the phone, remote, door knobs, faucet handles, and yes, even the toilet handle. I also take off the bedcover and throw it in the corner of the room -- I was told once that housekeeping doesn't typically wash these after each visitor! EEEEWWWW Inevitably, though, I have to chastise my husband for lounging on the bedcover before I can pull it off!

I've heard other people say that they make up mini-diaper changing kits in ziploc bags so they don't have to take the diaper bag, stroller, and everything into the restroom. They just take one of their kits and the baby and voila!!

We used small ones for snacks in the parks, and the larger ones to fill with ice (either ice packs or ice cubes) for the parks...in our cooler to keep our water cold.

PLUS everything, everyone else said! Airplane, wet clothes, etc...

My grocery store had the 2.5 gallon size on sale today, so I picked up 3 boxes. There are 12 in a box and my two kids and I will be at WDW for 12 days, so I have enough to pack our clothes by outfit for each day. I carry a mini Eastpak in the parks, and it fits right in the 2.5 gallon size so nothing gets wet on Kali. I'm also bringing some of the sandwich size for leftovers.

I also like them for the stuff that I collect for my scrapbook.

I take snack sized ziplocks and make up restaurant bags for my dd. I put a place mat, spoon, fork, napkin and anti-bacterial wipes in each bag. Sometimes, I also put a paper for dd to color and a few crayons. I didn't do that much this time, though, because most of our TS meals were buffet.

I use the snack size bags to pre-measure my powdered laundry detergent if I plan on doing laundry at Disney. Then I use a gallon size bag to hold my pop up laundry hamper, my smaller bags of detergent, some dryer sheets, and a snack size bag of quarters. This becomes my laundry kit.

I also take the sandwich size bags to put my used dollar store rain poncho in when I am done using it.

Not just wet clothes...but keep a dry set of clothes in them so if there is an unexpected shower or a ride on Kali your kids have some dry clothes to wear and use the same bag to put the wet ones in.

before leaving home I gently ripped out coloring pages from DD5s coloring books and carefully folded a few in a sandwich size ziplock adding a few crayons to each bag, I made a dozen baggies like this and when we were waiting in line for those princess' in the tent , or at dinners...these baggies were priceless! Parents wanted to BUY them from me!! :rotfl: but I made them to share, and share we did!:dance3: I specifically put em in these baggies so theyre shareable, easy access in my backpack, dont take up much room at all and we had no prob giving a bag away to kids who didnt want to give our crayons back.;)

I do this also and helps if something is spilled on the luggage during the flight and keeps the jet fuel smell out of the clothes.

I use them when I'm packing up my toiletries in my checked luggage. That way if cabin pressure causes my shampoo or sunblock to pop open. I only have a shampoo filled ziplock back instead of shampoo covered clothes and shoes.
