To the PP inquiring about the wet ones:
I suppose the obvious answer is the cost. I am a fan of the travel pack Wet Ones - I pack one for each day in the parks - traveling with or without children. I think
Walmart has the best price I've found at .96, and I've seem them other places for close to 2.00, so they can be expensive if you don't shop around and buy them early. I have the plastic tub of WetOnes in my car, and it is around $3 I think and contains 40 wipes, compared to the travel pack that only contains 15 wipes.
Also the travel packs you need to close carefully, they self stick to close but if you leave a gap they'll dry out, but get stuff in your purse wet in the process. It is alcohol based so it does dry fairly quickly. I suppose if you bag them in ziplocs you don't have this problem?
I use WetOnes for everything, wiping hands, wiping high chairs, wiping resturant tables especially the edge and underneath (in front of the high chair), wiping dirty tables at counter service places, wiping shopping carts. Sometimes I'll even wipe hotel rooms when we check in, doorknobs, light switch plates, phone, and tv remote. Oh and the airplane, yep, the tray table, the ledge of the window, anyplace my baby/toddler will touch and then put hands in the mouth. Not that I'm a neat freak, it just that my kids get sick every single time we go out of town.
