We have an ADR for tomorrow (yes! tomorrow!) for dinner at Kona Cafe at 6:10, and planned to hop the monorail to MK for 8pm Wishes......any problem leaving the car at the Poly and returning to it to drive home?

Our 4yo DD has explained a dozen times that she thinks the fireworks will be too loud (not too scary - just too loud), so we're going to try it, but we probably won't stay the whole time. Also depends on 9m old DD!

Thanks for you help....

If you park at Poly for dinner, you will be given a three hour parking pass, which in your case should probably cover your time at MK.

I always use valet parking ($7 - I have DDE card and it is complimentary), and have always been given told by the attendant that there was no limit since I used valet.

Even without it being complimentary, I think $7 (plus tip) is a good deal - you pull up, get out, they park your car, you come out they get your car.

LOve it at Kona's for dinner.

Will you be going to any other parks that day? If not I would save the day on my hopper and watch from the beach. The view is great and the music travels across the lagoon. Also, you would be avoiding the exodus from the park. Check when the electric water pagent is running- you may be able to see both from the beach. The sand is lovely.

Just an FYI - when I was there in December, I was never given a limited pass. We visited 8 resorts. However, they do give them out at peak times, but I don't think now is peak. Anyway, "legally" the best way to do it would be either Valet park or park at the TTC and take the monorail to the Poly and MK.

(Although I admit to doing this at the Boardwalk and going to Epcot :sad2: , but I parked way in the back corner because I felt guilty taking a parking space from a resort guest. Also, the Poly parking lot is quite small I thought for having over 800 rooms.)

We always get the 3 hour pass when we eat at the Poly but we tend to park in valet. I don't know how strict they are with the times but you might be ok doing that. I wouldn't think you would be much over the time limit if you went to the MK afterwards.

You can also see Wishes from the Poly beach and they are not as loud as in the MK. You might want to try this if your child doesn't like loud noises.
