OK - time for a Jan. 2005 thread!

Who else is excited about going in January? We will be there from the 22-29, staying at the Contemporary Resort for the 1st time (a big upgrade from our usual All Star Resort stay), and I can't wait!!!
I'm hoping for CRT reservations but I have to wait until October to make those. I'm also waiting on discount codes, and for Southwest Airlines to accept reservations at the end of Jan.. ARGHH!!! So much waiting!

Wish I could join you, but alas, I couldn't talk DH into going again so soon (we were there in Jan 2004). So it looks like I will be waiting for November 2005 or Jan 2006 .........Have a great trip!........P

we just decided last week to go in january!! we'll be there jan 23-28th (maybe the 22nd) at OKW.

Me! Me! Me! We're doing the DCL cruise 12/28 -1/4 and I just talked dh into a trip to the parks after. We'll probably spend Jan 4 at DTD and just relaxing and then Jan 5-6 at the parks. The WDW Marathon activities begin on Jan 7, so we'll head home then.

Just a quick trip, but I'm SO excited! We have 2 day hoppers left from Oct 03 so the parks are paid for. Now, to find a room!

I checked mousesavers and there seem to usually be a lot of discounts the first week of Jan. We've stayed at AKL the last 2 times and while I love it, we might just do a monorail site this time. The kids are young (7 & nearly 6 at the time of the trip) so MK is the place we'll spend the most of our time.

I'm very excited. Not only am I going to WDW, always cause for celebration and excitement; but also this time I'm going with my 21 yo son. whom I don't see too often. And it isn't often that young men this age vacation with Mom.

I can't wait for January (and January discounts!!) We're going from 12/31 - 1/10 and hopefully staying at POFQ but I'm thinking of maybe trying out AKL if the discounts are as good as last year.
I got an email and a postcard for fall discounts this week that I can't use and it's driving me crazy!

I was scavenging around my house last night looking for my reservation confirmation from when I applied our AP discount last year. I couldn't find it though. Part of me thinks it was in November but surely we won't have to wait that long?! Does anyone else remember when AP and room only codes came out?

I found this at mousesavers.com. The first date range is the "offer good" range and the last date (and exp date) is the date the offer came out. It looks like last year's AP rates came out on 12/4

We'll be there Jan. 22-30, 2005 staying at the Villas at Wilderness Lodge.

First time stayint at VWL and first time visiting WDW in January ( usually go during the warm summer months ) ....can't wait!

January 19-26! We are planning to stay at CSR unless some really, really good AP rates come out, then I will try for the Poly - our ultimate dream!

Jan 9-15! I can't wait to show DBF the ropes! I think I will see Disney completely differently through his "new" eyes.

We're staying at AKL the 9-11 and Pop 12-14. Although, if a decent code comes out I may upgrade to Coronado Springs instead of Pop, or I may upgrade to AKL Concierge for one night so we can do the safari.

I am! I am going with two friends to run the 1/2 marathon I have no idea our exact dates and location yet. We are having a "planning" lunch tomorrow. Any suggestions?? Should we stay on the monorail or go for the BC/YC or BW? We'll be 3 30-something females who like to eat, shop, and ride rides. Thanks!

We are planning Jan 8- 14, thinking about staying at Pop, just taking our youngest girls (9&10). This is 9 year old's birthday & we are planning a surprise trip!!!!!!!!!! The two oldest girls can't miss school & college for the week
