Hi everyone,

First off, thanks so much for everyone helping with my last set of questions! So...I leave for Paris tomorrow (well, today really...in about 7 hours) and plan on heading to DLP on Saturday for a quick (and very much needed) 1 day visit. We'll be taking the RER in from Paris getting to DLP at 9:59 AM and leaving at either 10:46 or 11:01 (depending on how long it takes to get back to the train station).

Anywho...I was planning on getting a 1-day park hopper. Will it be possible to do everything in one day, or should I focus on just one park? I would love to go to Disney Studios so I can ride Rock 'n Roller Coaster but I can miss it if it'll be too much of a hassle.

Also, we're looking at eating at Blue Lagoon. How can I make reservations? Do I go straight to the restaurant or can I make them from somwhere else (like City Hall or some place at Disney Studios)? Also, would it be better to eat there for dinner or lunch? Both are options, as long as I'm able to have Casey's Corner at some point. Some traditions can never be broken. ;)

Thanks for all the help so far!

As you're visiting on a Saturday it will be busy. My first thoughts were that you should stick to one park, but the park hopper might be useful for popping over to the slightly quieter Studios, if the Disneyland Park gets very busy! Also Rock n' Roller Coaster doesn't usually have a big queue, so it shouldn't take too much time out of your day. As long as you think the extra money to upgrade to a hopper ticket is worth, then I would say go for it. :thumbsup2

You can make a reservation for the Blue Lagoon at City Hall or the restaurant itself. Do that as soon as you arrive - so obviously City Hall would be the best place.

BTW the train station is very close to the parks :thumbsup2

I realise that you already left for you trip, but I thought I would write this in case you had access to the net before Saturday. :) Sending some :wizard: for a great trip.

Thanks Bexx! I just got into my hotel in Paris and they have free wi-fi :thumbsup2 so the first thing I had to do of course was get on the Boards. I'm considering just going for a single park ticket and focusing on Disneyland. I can always ride RnRC at WDW (even though I like the themeing more at DLP).

It now looks like it might be a solo trip. My family isn't really looking forward to it and would rather go to the museums here :sad2: . Oh well.

Thanks again for all the help and well wishes!

Glad you arrived safely :thumbsup2

Hope your family change their minds, and go to DLP with you. Have they been before? Whatever they decide, have a great visit on Saturday :goodvibes

My mom has been twice, so she doens't feel the need to go again. :guilty: My dad is not really a huge Disney lover :sad2: doesn't want to go. My sister, and brother-in-law have not been...they said that they would rather go to WDW. I tried to tell them that it was completely differnt from Florida, so we'll see what they decide.

Hi everyone! I just wanted to thank y'all again for the help and let you know that I did go to DLRP on Saturday for my first solo trip ever. I won't go into my full trip report (I'll do that on another thread) but I will say that it was by far my most relaxing trip ever to a Disney park. I was able to do whatever I wanted to do whenever I wanted however many times I wanted to do it. For the first time, I actually stolled down Main Street and looked at the windows. I've always known they were there, but never looked at them.

Anywho, thanks again for everything!

You're very welcome. :goodvibes

I love reading all the windows at the Disney parks. Looking forward to hearing more about your trip. :wizard:
