I think maybe I'm totally losing my mind....but where do I find info on dates etc, for DISCON II. I missed last year and really want to go..........

Ann, if you scroll back several pages, the dates mentioned are Dec. 4-8. However, the idea was mentioned to make the convention one day longer. We should get some definite info one of these days!

OK, I scrolled back and couldn't find the post from Pete with the dates - so I guess that was deleted. I know I'm not imagining this, as TONS of people have already reserved their hotel rooms for the week after Thanksgiving!

I think that I have that information.

Please remember, that this information was written by Pete last year during the 2001 DIS-CON-I during the height of excitement and success and joy of being in WDW and enjoying the convention.

The dates appear to remain the same as seen on the main board to all forums that we click onto to get to this DIS-CON board.

They are still working on registration. A lot of us have already obtaine reservations on our own, but they may change if Pete posts better convention resort rates.

So please don't get angry about that "in one week" quote. I hope that this is a clear disclaimer.

Dates for DISCON 2
Hi folks:

It looks like we have pretty firm dates for DISCon 2.....

As of right now, they will Dec 4-8, 2002. We're working on the registration engine for this (which will be MUCH better then the previous one), and I hope to start pre-registration early next week for those who want room inclusive packages. It will be a little while before we know exactly what the events portion will be (and what it will cost), but folks will be able to reserve thier hotel rooms right away.
