OK. So this is weird.........

I tried calling the dining reservation center to change a few reservations (party of 8). I get this

"You have called a number outside of your shadowing hours. Please call back during your scheduled time."

Never heard that before.......

I don't think so. It seems there is a glich.....I got on the chat. Cast member suggested I try 407-824-1391. This number worked however, I was on hold for over an hour.

I got that when it wouldn't accept linking my room reservation.

I'm sure it's for cast members who are training to man the phones and the wires got crossed.

I got this same thing this morning!!! I called the dining line at 6:59 and got "we're closed right now, our business hours are . . . ". I called back one minute later at 7:00 a.m. and got that strange message about being "outside of my shadow time.". So bizarre! I kept getting that shadow time message so I called the main Disney line and had to go through all the prompts and by the time I got in to dining it was 7: 10 and I ended up waiting over two and a half hours to talk to someone. It was a mess.

I was actually trying to do the same thing you were - add two reservations of 4 together (we are a group of 8). They were not able to help me at all. A very frustrating morning.

I got that same weird message today when trying to call for help linking a resort reservation. Weird.
