Ok so I caved in...and booked CSR May 2006!!!

and booked my May 2006 trip!!!

I'd been looking at the WDW website and seeing that Coronado had no availability for most of the first two weeks in May. That is the time that my best friend and I are hoping to go, so I called CRO today and reserved our package

Its at rack rate at the moment, and we will gladly pack rack if no discounts come out. Hopefully there will be package discount codes released in jan or feb for may.

I've secured it with my deposit of $200.00 and I have until March 18th to cancel for a full refund

In fact, your post prompted me to reserve my room at CSR for next July! I figured if May was booking up already, I should book my 8-day vacation which will include the 4th of July 2006. I am splitting my stay between Poly and CSR.

My ressies are as follows for 2 adults, 2 kids:

Sunday July 2, 2006 to Thursday July 6, 2006
Polynesian Resort (with 8-day park hopper and 4-day dining plan)

THEN SWITCH TO:

Thursday July 6, 2006 to Monday July 10, 2006
Coronado Springs Resort (no dining plan)

I absolutely can not wait!

Good for You!!!! CSR can be hard to get into discount or not. If you are going when they have a big convention booked, it can be impossible to even get a day or two.
Just sit back, relax and count down the days.

Ummmmmmmmmmmmmm, ok, now you made me nervous...why is CSR booked up already for May?! -- Do they do alot of conventions?

I'm planning for 1st week of May 2006, but haven't booked anything yet.
I thought early May was a slower time and I could wait til mid-December or early Janurary to book my room.

I couldn't get any availability from May 3rd till about the 16th, any combination I tried. I ended up with the 2nd to the 9th. I know, it surprised me as well. Im sure if you tried different combinations of dates something might be available, but I couldn't get 7 nights anytime from the 3rd to the 16th.
