Ok, so do you think we should go for it?

I know this is probably a biased question on the Dis Boards! I was just looking at the new offer, MYW plus free dinning. My Dh and I went in Feb for 4 nights and really enjoyed the MYW dining feature. It was our late honeymoon. Well, now I see this new offer starting at $450 an adult for 5 nights, 6 days. WOW, this seems like a good deal to me. We would go in late September or early Oct, I know it's not crowed or too hot. The thing is, we have a 9 month old, he will be 1 by then. I can't go and not take him again, so it this price worth it? I have been to WDW with a 3 y/o, wasn't mine(my little cousin) on family trips, but I don't know anyone personally who has taken a young child. I know he can basically go on everything without a height restriction. I was planning on taking him in a year or two anyway. Do you think he will enjoy himself? He is very well behaved when we go out. He is a very easy child to take to resturants and such. I of coarse already know to let him get in naps and plenty of rest. My dh is torn as well.
Money is another thing. We haven't exactly saved up for this, but we could swing it, if need be. Junior won't cost any extra towards the room or for park tickets. We plan to have him off of formula and baby food, by the time we go. The only thing extra we would need for him is his stroller/rental and diapers. I guess I just need some advice from parents with small children who have gone....Is it worth it?
Thanks, Stephanie

I say yes. We took my DS7 when he was 13 months old. I have some great pictures of him with the characters and he still smiled and giggled and had a great time. Vacation time is priceless and special with your kids even when they are younger. Meal time was our biggest obstacle. Keeping him happy for the meals. I brought my own stroller and he took naps in it. We used Baby swaps and did the big kids rides for us and DD when he was sleeping. It worked out perfectly for us. We went over Thanksgiving and the week after when he was that age. Since then, he has been every year. Its fun remembering them when they were little and at Disney.

Have fun!! That sounds like a great price.

I say yes too!! We took my DS when he was 9.5 months (that was in Sep/Oct, too!) and he loved it! It was so much fun seeing him react to the characters and attractions. You can actually take him on more rides than you think. He will love the fireworks and the parades too. We didn't think it was a hassle at all traveling with our son. I would take a stroller with you, if I were you--we took ours, and it was nice to be able to have him recline and take naps in the afternoon and evenings--those rented ones didn't look real comfortable.

We are taking him again in July, he will be almost 19 months--can't wait!! :flower:

We have taken all of our children (4) when they wee babies. Plan and go. The baby will love it. Does the baby sleep in the stroller? If not, pick a monorail resort and go.
