Ok, so about sliding bathroom doors . . .

I understand the concerns of some, and that it may be a big personal problem for others, but , , , geese louise. This has to be the topic of discussion at Disney with the DVC powers that be; not the problem but the discussion of the problem.

Everyone does realize that when the big stuff that needs corrected comes along, Disney will remember this thread.

By the way, as long as you are peeking, turn on the water at the sink for me, will you?

I could not believe this either. There really should be a sink in the bathroom, even if it is a very small one.
There must be a lot of germs on the door handle! YUCK!

The sink is outside the toilet/tub/shower room in most of the studios and second bedrooms. And most of the hotel rooms as well.

But isn't this the standard for most WDW hotels and for DVC studios?

A lot of non-Disney hotels have the sink outside the toilet/tub room as well. I can think of Hampton Inns and Homewood Suites that are that way.

OK, so I totally see why some would be bothered by the sliding door. I do.

But the sink and the kitchen?
In the VWL studio, the sink and the vanity are back to back?
I didn't think this was that unusual?
Maybe I am mistaken, but I thought that was just the way it is? :confused3

We are going to BLT in Oct, just DH and myself. And I can't wait.

True, the other studios have the bathroom sink right outside the tub/toilet room. And the kitchenette is on the wall opposite. But there is a good five to seven feet between them. More than enough room for someone to be grooming at the bathroom sink and another person to be getting coffee, cereal, microwaved food from the kitchenette.

The kitchenette and the bathroom sink in BLT are separated the width of a narrow person's body facing the back wall with hands touching both the kitchen sink and the bathroom sink almost without raising your arms at all. You can't touch both sinks in the other studios unless you have King Kong length arms.
