Ok so it seems like to purchase a 100 point contract, I have to do kidani.... though this isn't guide confirmed as of yet.


So if I am forced to buy in at Kidani and not be able to use my points until next year, could I buy in at Kidani for 100 points, then turn around a week or two later and add on 25 or 30 points at another resort, and use those immediatly plus borrow the coming years (so use 08 and 09) for a stay soon before my kidani points come available? (assuming there is availibility at a dvc resort when I want to travel)

Does this even make any sense the way I am trying to describe it?!?!

If you bought a 100 point contract those points would be immediately available to book at any of the DVC resorts. They would not be specific to AKL.

Wow I need to update that last post. I did NOT know that you couldn't use those points until kidani was finished. Sorry. I'm always learning something new here.

Yes, you can immediately add on points at another resort. You could probably add on points at Jambo in a small amount like that if they have small points available in your use year. Disney will only let you add on in the same use year, but i'm sure you could add on at SSR or OKW fairly easily. If you are looking to stay somewere soon, I would probably add on points at OKW. Look at the number of points you would need for an OKW stay during the time and unit size you prefer. to determin how much you add on. Then you could use current use year points plus borrow from the following use year. I reccomend OKW because it takes less points for an OKW reservation than any of the other resorts. If you added on 40 points, you would have 80 points at your disposal right away.
