In a move that was just reported on CBS.Sportline.Com, the A-Rod deal has gone through
! When this was first reported last night, I had a deep pit in my stomach over this move, knowing how close the Red Sox were to trading for him and then having it fall apart
. But now, after analyzing this situation and reading some comments made by Curt Schilling I feel much better
! A-Rod has never been known as the "consumate team player" which means he will fit in well with the Yankees organization
. Besides, I feel much better with the Red Sox rotation than the Yankees line-up. Red Sox management has built a solid team from top to bottom and front to back. The loss of Soriano and a weakened pitching staff, makes the Yankees vulnerable.
. All I can say is A-Rod better becareful when he steps in to the batter's box for the first time in Fenway against Schilling or Pedro
!!! He will now become public enemy #1
. All this will do is make it much more sweeter for the Red Sox Nation in Ocotber.
So don't let this get you down. Ok, deep breath, all together now,
!!
