How is your Launch Pad area looking this week?
Are you ready for back to school?
The great thing about this is even people without kids can have this and it REALLY helps!! I have eliminated the " HONEY where are my KEYS???" holler in my house!
This is what my launch pad area looks like ( I will post a picture later tonight when dh gets home with the camera)
I have a coat rack low enough so the kids can reach it to hang back packs and coats on, I have shoe tent nearby to hold all their shoes, The coat rack has a shelf on top so it holds extra stuff too, I have a desk near the back door ( to the garage the door we use most often) on that desk each child had a dish tub size plastic box, labled with their name, to hold items to go to school, and I have a 3 drawer wicker stand (one drawer for each child) to hold mittens umbrellas etc.
I also have a calendar above the coat rack that I keep updated with their activities.
For my stuff I have a mail holder that has key holders on it as well. We automatically hang out keys when we walk in the door. The amil holder isnt big enough to hold all the amil we get in a day so we keep the markers for the dry erase calendar in there.
So how is you Launch pad area looking?
On a related note... dh has gotten into the spirit (
) yesterday we went to Home Depot and bought shelving for the garage and whole new organizer for the office closet! So now my office supplies are in a pile in my living room while we install this thing tonight.
Wish me luck, yesterday we destroyed the shelves that were in there before.
