and I am a detail kinda girl :lovestruc
ANY and ALL suggestions would be great and if you happen to have PICTURES!!!!! Well, that would be the icing on the cake for me!

some people will just take their disks w/the autograph books or whatever to staples & have them bind them for them.

ok, i live right up the street from a Staples! :thumbsup2
Once they bind them, can the boys still write in them like a journal?

yes, as long as the pages aren't laminated. If they are, you can always give them sharpies :) LOL

I took mine to Staples (on a jump/thumb drive). Here's the results:

That turned out GREAT - Mind sharing about the cost of it?????????????

If I remember correctly, it was ~$2 for the spiral binding and 49 cents/page. I don't recall if I had to pay extra for the cover but I think the whole book cost me right around $10 with tax (7% in Jersey). I took it to Staples because I thought it would be cheaper in the long run rather than burning through my HP ink at home!

What kind of paper and what size of paper did you print it all out on?

I used regular paper stock ( cover & card stock was much more expensive) and it was for a 5 year old so I didn't want to get carried away. I only put the autograph pages on one side for two reasons - 1) if the marker bled through it wouldn't ruin anything on the other side and 2) if there were more characters she wanted autographs of that weren't in her book, she could use the blank pages.

I had 16 MS Word pages (two autograph designs to an 8-1/2x11" page).
My niece is afraid of characters so I used !90% face character autograph pages and only !10% costumed characters because I thought she wouldn't approach the costumed characters. Anyway, I digress.

Things I wished I had done differently -
- a more accurate job spacing between the two designs on a page as when the page was cut it came "close" to the border of one of two designs on some of the pages.
- I didn't do a good job at sizing the cover page to match the rest of the pages.

And now, for the rest of the story... during the Princess breakfast in Norway, we realized that the autograph book was in the Disney locker at the entrance of the park :scared1:  :scared1:  ! Fortunately, the host handed out index cards. :rolleyes1

I used Staples online for an autograph book and a memory book. The memory book was over 100 pages and I was only charged .29 a page for color! :cool1: I pick them up on Saturday. I will post pictures. I can't wait to see the finished products!

heartbeeps - thanks for the prices that is cheap!!!! i will so have to make one or maybe a few!

K, sorry for all these questions, but I have one more:rotfl:

Do you take the pics in on a disk or cd and they print them? :confused3

I took mine in on a jump drive and they printed them on their color printer. The trick is to get as many on a page as possible (probably just 2) so you save money on the color printing!

I picked up our memory book & autograph book at Staples last night. Both of them were around $50. The memory book has 102 pages so they charged .29 cents per page. The other one was maybe 30 but then cut into half pages. I don't remember how many.

Got home too late to take pictures but I am really pleased with the way they came out. I probably would have gone thru at least two ink cartridges so the $50 doesn't bother me. I will post this weekend (hopefully with my finished shirts & other projects!)
