OK, now that I have it, what do I do?

So I just got the Captain Jack costume and posted here in my excitement. And I have got a LOT of trade requsts. I don't know what to, and I'm sure you all have an opinion!

On one hand, I have wanted this costume ever since it came out. It is a way cool costume and Pirates is one of my favorite movies. I had always thought that if, in a rare moment of luck that I was to get one, that I would keep it.

On the other hand, I could always get another, it might take a while but I'm sure they will become more common. And that is another problem, some of the offers I am getting are VERY good. (Although not inferno, lol!) And the price will go down.

So do I keep it b/c I love it, or trade it for something I would never otherwise be able to get in the hopes of it becoming less rare, while the costume is worth more?

Sorry if this is snobbish of me, I have little practice in this!

First off - Congratulations on getting the suit!!!

Second - go with what feels right. Personally, if it were me - I would not trade the suit until I had another on hand. I agree that the price will go down as more appear in the game, But due to how difficult and randomly they are given - I also believe that it will retain a high value for quite a while.

Go with your gut on this one!!!

I think you should give it to me since I told you the short cut before it was announced. Hehe just kidding.

Personally, I'd keep it. All that hard work was for the costume, not for what you could trade it for. If you really want to trade it, I'd save the first one and try for a second and trade that. At least then the code entering would be less stressful since you already have one of the outfit.

Do you want the costume? If yes, you keep it.

Do you want things that people are offering you more than the costume? If yes, you trade it.

No one can answer your question as only you know which you want more.

Look at your options and figure out which thing (or things) you would be happier with in your vmk pockets. That's the one you pick.

i don't know its not looking good for them to be ever bought low.. vmk is doind a pretty good job of not making them like the Narni teleporters which i think is a pontless move.. i mean come on it's a free game!

I'd say keep it. If you've wanted it for that long I wouldn't risk trading it away unless I knew that I had another one to spare. You might regret it. LOL, but ultimately the choice is yours.

I had decided if in rare chance I won a costume I would first post here an offer to trade, if no takers then go in a trade room. I've only played for a month and other than a nice trade for the purple baseball cap have no rare with no hopes of getting any. I imagine this costume would bring about some good offers from people who've been around awhile and have stockrooms of stuff. I would have never thought to buy more than one Gabriella dress, though personnally I don't think that will hold it's value like crowns and princess dresses or top hats or indian outfit, etc do. They're classics where as HSM is this years fad, imo.

So you do what is best for you, but if I ever get lucky enough to win one with as little as I copy codes, I'll be posting for a trade! I really want a bird hat!

Well now I'm in the same boat as you (pardon the pun). I said trade, but unless the offer was smoking hot I don't think I would part with it. In my opinion these are going to be tough to get, especially now that they have changed the code trick. More work means less people trying, which means fewer times between 5,000 and fewer costumes out there.
