anyone know what's going on with thomas cook, flights are being cancelled we are booked with them for june and they seem to be cancelling or rearranging flights. this would be disastrous for us as we have connecting flights. is it just that the flights are not selling

Ok now i am worried we are booked with them for September & have booked DVC accommodation which will not be easy to change if they change flight dates !
Where did you hear this ?
I am a born worrier so will have to phone Thomas Cook 2moro to find out if my booking is ok !

Anyone know if this is Thomas Cook direct flights? We're booked with Thomas Cook, but flying with Virgin?

I rang yesterday. It's Thomas Cook flights. As far as I can see there have been no cancellations, only changes. A bunch of flights are only half booked due to the climate, so they're just merging them together to save costs. They're giving notice now for flights in May and working down the list, so plenty of time.

If my flight for October is going to change I'll hear about it, the latest, in August. Both my TA and Thomas Cook said the same thing.

Bit fedup just phoned TA to find out what is happening with Thomas Cook flights they say they have heard nothing and would not phone Thomas Cook to find out for us, but would let us know as soon as Thomas Cook notified them if there were changes !!!
I'm really worried as we have DVC accomodation booked at BLT & if they change day of flight could really muck up booking.
Oh,well looks like I'll be worrying from now till September !! lol...

Well I had a phone call this morning saying my flight for the 6th of October was cancelled!

They managed to change it to the 9th so I'm happy, but was still scary for a minute there! lol

As long as you are happy with changes Seems early for them to cancel as am sure lot of people waiting bit longer to book this year - might be a rush for flights next month or so !! We are flying with Thomas Cook in Aug - will maybe check as well as I've booked villa separately so be harder for me to change. Thanks for letting us know

I was told when I tried to book for next winter that the end of oct- march has been cancled for florida. I have since heard of others who have had letters saying the same thing that were due to fly in nov. Just a heads up incase anyone is flying after mid oct as I would phone and check if it was me.
