Starting to pack for the trip and doing last minute shopping this weekend. What do you use to keep your makeup from sweating off and looking good? Any suggestions/tips? I usually use a full coverage liquid foundation and can't leave home w/out it- so makeup free isn't an option.

I use BB or CC cream instead of foundation with primer underneath... I have somewhat oily skin so that keeps it under control while giving me coverage but is still light. I usually only do mascara with nude-ish eyeshadow but I use eyelid primer for that too.

Someone on another post mentioned Ben Nye final seal. Mine just came today, so I haven't tried it yet, but it sounds intriguing.

I don't necessarily do much makeup for the parks, but I definitely do foundation. Try a loose powder/setting powder to help set your foundation so it won't sweat off as easily.

I dont wear makeup at the parks. But for work I do and I have really oily skin. I use Smashbox Photo Finish Primer. That stuff keeps oil at bay and locks the foundation onto my skin. Love love love that stuff.

Setting spray helps. I use Urban Decay while I'm at Disney because they have one that's also oil absorbing so it helps with the oil/sweat I get in the heat. Using a primer helps your foundation stay on, too. Eyeshadow primer for your eyeshadow keeps it on even if you get oily/sweaty. Using ink pen style eyeliner that's waterproof will stay on through pretty much anything.

Revlon Colorstay has been my favorite go to foundation when I need long lasting coverage. However, I also love Lancôme . But, it doesn't stay on in the heat of the summer.

I must be doing something wrong. Aside from the fact that I HATED the way primer felt on my skin (and combined with tinted BB cream on top it felt like my face was suffocating) but it felt like the makeup was sliding off as I tried to apply it. My eyeliner wouldn't stick at all with primer under it.

Awesome thread. I did my regular routine last August which is foundation and light powder no primer even though I have some. Ugh! Yeah that all came off by 10am. Good tips though! Thanks!

I've not been to the parks in the summer, but I work in ag research and wear at least a little makeup to work - my skin is oily, sensitive, and not the best blemish-wise. Gonna go out on a limb and say standing in a flooded rice field on a sunny day with 95%+ humidity and 100+ heat index is comparable to Disney :P

I use Neutrogena Ultra Sheer sunscreen as a base layer - most facial sunscreens break out my skin big time, but I've had good luck with this. Then I use Clinique tinted moisturizer as foundation. Mine is specifically Moisture Surge, but they have 2-3 different ones. It gives enough coverage that I don't feel self conscious, but it's still very lightweight and doesn't feel like my face is melting off. Also doesn't streak when I sweat - that's handy. Then I use a setting powder (mine's Clinique) and waterproof mascara. You could also carry a powder compact for quick touch ups for pictures, etc.

I hardly ever wear eyeshadow or liner (even outside of work), so not much help there. But shiny lip gloss can help give a more finished look. I like Mentha Shine from Bath and Body Works. It's not sticky and actually helps keep my lips moisturized. Good luck!

Use Jurlique Rose Silk finishing powder. It's not cheap but it'll absorb sweat and oil and keep you make up in place. You can wear a full face without it slipping no matter how hot it is.

I use It cosmetics from Ulta- a BB or CC cream. They work great for me (and we go in August)
