UPDATE:......Ok girls here is the update on my one night getaway to the world. We dropped the girls off at my moms house friday night.Went home to pack in which my wife still overpacked even for just an overnight trip.:confused3 Had no issues at the airport or getting our rental.Arrived at the BWV's to find out that the room wasn't ready. No problem we were early(11 am) so we decided to take a ride to DTD and walk around.Since we haven't done that in a long time(just us) it was nice to just walk and talk.Time went by and my wife made a call to find out if the room was ready and it still wasn't (2:30pm) so I decided to bring her to the SSR and get her a massage. We went over to the spa but she said she didn't want a massage and just wanted to be with me.She said, when do we get to do nothing and just be with each other.I agreed and we just walked and talked while viewing the SSR.We made it back to the BWV's around 4 pm to find out the room was finally ready. It was well worth the wait,a boardwalk view.:yay: We relaxed a little in the room:hug: before getting ready for our 9 pm dinner at Narcoossee's.We arrived at Narcoossee's just before 9pm and had just a few min wait.We sat at a table by the window so we could see the fireworks that go off at 10pm. Nelson(our waiter from LI,NY) handed us our own personalized menus and was very attentive to our needs. He surprised us with a champange and strawberry toast and a mango sorbet in between our courses. The food was very good except for the entree my wife ordered.I don't know why she ordered what she did but it was horrible so I gave her my dinner and ate hers.Believe me I can eat anything no matter how bad it is and this was no different but it had to be the worst entree I have ever eaten. For anyone that cares, it was the grilled lamb and tiger shrimp with moroccan spices. If you don't do that kind of spices DO NOT order this entree.:scared1: During our dinner the fireworks went off which was a nice touch.I told my wife that I had a custom cake made for the occassion and that she should ask for the dessert menu because once she sees the cake she won't want to cut it and want to bring it home for everyone to see.Well she said don't worry I'm cutting it especially that the filling is dark chocolate mousse.(her favorite) When Nelson put the cake in front of her and placed the knife down she immediately said she was not going to cut the cake and wanted to bring it home.Nelson put the cake back in the box silver tray and all (don't know if he was suppose to do that) and our dinner came to a close. We went back to the room and the night was over.We woke up the next morning had some breakfast and tried to figure how we were going to get the cake back to NY for everyone to see.If it wasn't for bell services for keeping it cold after we had to check out and still had sometime before our flight and the people at the snack bar near our departing gate at MCO that kept it in the freezer before our flight left it would have never made it.Oh,also all the TSA's that gave us no problem with getting it threw security and the encouragement of getting it home in one piece.Could not have done it without all of them.:upsidedow It made it home and everyone just love it.My little one who we didn't tell we went to Disney for the night went crazy when we told her. I blamed it all on my wife, hey I'm still a guy. Last,I would like to thank everyone who helped with suggestions and kind words when I asked for help. You are all truly very good people and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.May all your Disney dreams come true..............Mine did.....:woohoo:

That cake looks awesome! I wouldn't have wanted to cut into it either, although I would probably break down and cut it when I found out there was dark chocolate mousse inside!

Looks like you had a great weekend and your wife now can never call you un romantic again :thumbsup2
