Ok, I've booked!!!!

Well I have been going back and forth for months really, the age old debate of whether we could afford to go is still ongoing, but despite that I took the plunge and booked anyway

This will be my son's first trip (he is 17 months old) but my husband's and my 3rd trip. We got married at WDW in 2007 and we also went in 2010 when I was pregnant. So far this is what the plan is. Nov 14th to Dec 5th, 21 nights...YUP 21 NIGHTS at Wilderness Lodge with DDP. We have never been at all during the festive period and I have always wanted to go, plus I thought it would be even more magical for my son I have not booked flights yet but am so happy to have the Disney aspect booked. I am considering two nights at a Universal hotel as we will not be hiring a car and think it might be easier. Any thoughts?

So any tips on travelling with a toddler?

Hi, ru going this year or next? We should b having our third trip in Oct, but our first with our little girl, who will b just 3! We might have to cancel tho, I have to decide this week :-(

Oh you come home the day before we go

We have gone at different times of the year but wouldn't want to go at any other time now

Your little boy will love it my DD's always have Even at such a young age. Youngest dd was 9months when she 1st went&will be 21 months when she goes again

I have always got them a bag of new toys(well oldest 2 are nearly 16&13 now so would throw them at me!) but I did when they were younger, which I let them have once they were onboard, things like books, small vetch toys, stickers etc along with lots of snacks&drinks.

Yay summer!! He will love it and we shall see you there! Im looking at similar dates for the girls birthday on 29th nov

We took girls at just under two last year and go in nine weeks and they were great take plenty of little new toys for plane we found and drawing and snacks

Oh crap, I meant to say we are going next year. There is no way we could afford a move to Hampshire AND a trip to Disney in the same year!! I am still bargaining with my husband that we can indeed afford this Disney trip, I have loads of time to convince him though

Well after the past 12 months we have had, that is more true than ppl realise! That is what has made us decide to go this Oct, we booked last Sept, but my mum was taken ill just after....sadly we lost her 6 weeks ago, so we didnt think we would feel like going, leaving my dad etc, but he has decided to come with us, so it looks like we r going to try & make the most of it, enjoy seeing DD Daisy having fun, you never know whats round the corner xx

DD has been at variety of ages but the things we have found work well - one or 2 new toys that haven't been seen before, colouring and an iPad with games & things to watch.

She also has a trunki which is a great help in the immigration queue as it gives her somewhere to sit

I have kind of decided that when I have saved half the cost I will book !
So I have told the wife that we don't buy anything anymore unless its required to get us to work or its needed to keep us alive !!
