Hello there - well somewhere out there is Ms. Katrina who is the latest in tropical storms and is suppose to dump rain and wind in the next few days - I realize there are many that will be traveling down this way and just may need a phone number just in case there is a problem, questions or just a safe zone. anyhow I am posting my cell number for you to tuck away just in case you need Norm and my help. You just never know and tho I pray you don't have to use it, please feel free to call if you need help ok - the number is 321-508-2246. Last year it came in handy for a number of travelers that got caught out of a safe zone.
anyhow everyone stay safe and if you are coming down for this weekend, I would suggest an umbrella and a big smile.

Hey there Marcy - looks like from Vero Beach on down the coast, cross over to the gulf, but if you been here long enough, you know they are very flickle -
This one doesn't really have me concern as of yet - spoke to my family down South and they haven't any plans at the moment in fact they will be riding it out - they are coming into the anniversary of Andrew of 15 years and this time last year we were getting news of what was to become Frances - last year was a challenge for lots of folks, but its best to be ready regardless.

May I just say... what an AMAZING couple you two are .. Such big, open hearts... I'm so impressed! You make this world so much brighter and I'm so glad to be a part of the DISboards where such wonderful people hang out and help one another. Thank you!!!

Once upon a time I was a single mom of 5 and I knew what it was to be stuck in a strange town, broke down and 5 kids that just took a lot of courage to look like I knew what I was doing so I always said if
I ever was put in the position that I could be a safe zone, I would do it - there has been a number of times that Norm and I have had to help out and there has never been any strings attached and we never took anything for helping out.
We have had from trips to the hospital, to vandals and destruction of a vehicle, to folks displaced from hurricanes or just questions answered. It doesn't take any time to just help. The number is out there just in case and as I said, hope noone has to use it except maybe to say hello.
