Ok....I'm ready!!

I picked up my coffee packs today along some other little things I usually bring with me. Groceries are ordered from WeGoShop.com. Clothes are clean and gently folded in the suitcase (not closed yet). Special "Disney" wallet is out and contains my Annual Pass, DVC Membership Card (no money yet) and Car Service numbers just incase. All my toilet items are out on the book case and ready to go into their little case.

So, the question is...... can I go now or do I still have to wait the 16 days????

This is why I wait until the last minute to pack. I could not look at the suitcase for over two weeks. That would kill me! Have the time of your life at your favorite place on earth!

Even if I waited until the night before to pack I'd still going crazy!!

See, I have a method. About 4 weeks prior to the trip I pull out all the "Disney Only" bags and suitcases. Then I go through them to see what I left there (unused Bath Balls from Basin, sunscreen, cleaning items, laundry detergent...etc.) and what I need to replenish. Hummm....I see an "Owners Locker" in my future. Then 3 weeks out I begin picking up the little items I need. Two weeks out, now, I start gathering clothes and put away the "Disney Bags" not being used, putting stuff in the suitecase I'm taking but carefully, cause I don't want them to wrinkle too much. Then I order whatever groceries I want do a double check of things I need and wait. And wait, and count the number of sleeps until I'm in my "Happy Place" and babble to you all and hope you don't mind!!

27 days left here and already have the suitcase out. My obessive disney trip planning keeps my family entertained AT least I give them something(or someone) to talk about about at family get togethers. Susan

You are funny! I'm a last minute packer myself, no matter if it's Europe or Disney just 2 hours away!

Let the anticipation and excitement keep building, just make sure you don't burst before you get there!

Just so you know: there IS a "cure" for the killer anticipation that starts about a month prior to a trip to Disney:

1. Get a job that lets you work off-site
2. Get a laptop (or other computer access) so you can do the aforesaid off-site work
3. Buy lots of DVC points
4. Be prepared to borrow to the max, transfer some add'l points in, and then add on yet again
5. Go to Disney multiple times/year (I'm up to 5 per year and am contemplating a 6th)

Work done at Disney is still work...but you're at Disney...even those workaholics among us generally have a couple of hours of non-sleep time even during a totally work-drenched day...getting to spend those hours at Disney is just as cool as pure vacation time!
