how it is when you get back, unpack, get the kids from your parents, drop down exhausted from the trip and get back into the swing of things. I've been meaning to write up our trip to London, Paris and DLP, but haven't gotten to it as of yet. However, I did just receive my pictures from the David Beckham Motorola Sweepstakes that I won and who paid for my flights and a day at the Academy. Got the pic of DH & I and the great Becks, Gotta say he is much better looking in person and a very nice man. I wanted to stand out from the other people meeting him, so I told him I saw him on Snoop Dogg's Fatherhood a couple weeks before we met and his first words? He laughed and goes, "Did you like it? Snoop is a really great guy." I almost lost it. ~ Oh well, we stayed at the Hotel Cheyenne for our trip to DLP and I HATED IT THERE. No sign of Disneyesque quality, no nice accommodations (now I have been to WDW 15 times and stayed on and off property everywhere and every price range, so I'm not being snotty) , our room had started construction under the sink and they never cleaned it up or repaired it, we were missing an air vent in the bathroom, the toilet was filthy as was the heater in the bathroom. I also did not care for the customer service or lack thereof at night when I went to the front desk for help to make a call to the US to check on my kids. WE LOVED the main park, although we were disappointed by the Studios. I actually took pictures of the stuff in our room and wrote the company through the website, and got an email that someone will be contacting me directly to handle what happened. I haven't heard from them in the past two weeks, but I hope to soon. This was a once in a lifetime trip for DH and I and felt the hotel really dropped the ball. I will be posting a full TR soon I swear and sorry to vent, but I figured who better to understand than fellow Disers. Thanks for listening.

wow, what a great experience overall!
sorry you didn't like the Cheyenne, i feel sad that you didn't like it, maybe it was an unfortunate one off. Our stay there last June was wonderful and we were pleased with everything about the Cheyenne. I hope you get a positive response to your complaint, please let us know the result.

Kristen, shame about the disappointment with the hotel, especially when it was such an important trip.
