My Dh and I will be at IOA for one day (Dec 4) and I want to surprise him with lunch or dinner at Mythos. I think I read that I can make reservations for this, but how long before should I call? The park hours ar 9-7 that day, what is the latest seating time for dinner? Thanks!

I may be speaking out of turn, but I highly doubt you'll need reservations for Dec. 4 - that's a very slow time of the year. We were at Universal the last week of August, and although we didn't go to Mythos, we went to Hard Rock and many of the restaurants on Citywalk, and never had to wait to be seated.

Mythos takes ressies 30 to 45 days out.

the hours of operation at that time of year will depend on the crowd and if there are other functions going on.

Do I call them directly?

Thanks for the info!

I don't know what the number is, MIB999999 usually takes care of that  but I agree with Dcookies, you really won't need ressies there for lunch. If the park is open until 7, I am almost willing to guarantee that they will not be open for dinner. That time of year, there is practically noone in the parks, so you may as well eat when you're hungry, rather than based on a pre-set schedule. They will probably seat for lunch until around 3, FYI.

Have some tortilla soup for me! :)

Good for you! I never step foot in Orlando without a planned trip to MYTHOs. The direct line for Mythos is 407-224-4534. You can also call 407-224-9255 which is the Universal Dining Line. I only made ressies one time when we had a large group coming. All of the other times I just walked in.

The reservations agent I spoke to told me that they can only take reservations for 30 days out and will only take reservations up to a 3pm seating. They will take walk ins after that though.

Hope that helps.
