After weeks of deciding what to do and after already booking our vacation at POR with MYW Dining, my dh decides that NOW he wants in on the planning of the vacation:rolleyes: . After I told him the totals of everything he was a little freaked out... mind you I have been planning this trip since before Christmas and have tried to talk about it numerous times. But anyways I love him...
So we start over from scratch looking at these boards, crunching numbers, trying to find a new hotel off site that we could agree on because he is not a Disney lover (yet).

So our the old plan was April 16th through the 22nd at POR with MYW dining (I had all my ADRS too) then on the 22nd leaving WDW and going to visit family in Winter Haven then taking the long way home.

The New plan April 16th -21st at the Country Inn LBV (free breakfast) 5 day MYW tickets then using a afternoon to visit family. After the 21st -going over to Siesta Beach for a day.
I think that we will like this as we are going to have more money for other little things and do more/ see more... we are pretty spontanious with our trips and I think this will free us up a little more...
Am I crazy?:rotfl2:

Nope, you're not crazy. It's always amazing how interested my DH gets when he hears how much it's going to cost (up until then it's just "whatever I want to do"). :rotfl:

you are going easter week - so ADR are a must.... they were cancelled when your POR reservations was cancelled.

so I would make a couple of them - not as many as you had - since you are paying cash for them now.

but I would definitely make a few when you know you are going to be in the parks...

have you gotten your tickets?

sign up on the mousesavers email! she sends links to tickets brokers who give her readers a discount.

www.mousesavers.com

check all the prices before you decide - sometimes with her links a 8 day ticket can be cheaper than a 5 day - it depends - then I would add the no expiry so you can use it for your next trip....

Ok I decided to keep one character meal at Chef Mickey's. I got a couple of certificates off of Resturant.com at half price for a couple of places with in 5 miles of our hotel. I am feeling better about it...
