We had not been to WDW since the MB/FP+ went park wide. Our last visit, September 2013, it was still in the testing mode and last year we visited DLR. I'll be honest in that I almost dreaded the trip after reading story after story of horrible experiences with them.
Well, I guess I am another convert.
The ONLY glitch we had was using the MB's to enter our resort room. On first try, neither mine or DW's would work. So we went back to the desk, they made some adjustments. We went back to the room and hers worked but mine still did not. More adjustments and then mine worked. On each visit, I warned the CM's that I had their names and knew where they worked in case of the erasure of FP+'s and ADR's, but they assured me they were all still there.
And they were!
Even before we left, when we had the opportunity to make our selections, (which were past the 60 make and NOT made at the stroke of midnight) we had no problem getting attractions we wanted to ride. And alsmost every attraction that we really like, we rode multiple times. And this was just last week whith 8 crowd levels as Spring Breaks were starting.
So, it's not the big bad wolf I had anticipated at all. Now, I will admit that I didn't make any changes to our FP selections for fear of losing some as others have stated. Maybe next trip, possibly this November, I'll venture out into the water a little more!
