ok I need some tech help

Got a ipod touch and frankly I am nothing but frustrated. It downloaded 55 podcast that I have listened to. I thought by unchecking the box next to the podcast it will not sync them back. So after manually deleting all 55 podcast and then sync it just puts them ll back on my ipod touch. Please how do you get this to stop doing this? Also any good books to buy to help you figure this thing out? Thanks everyone.

I don't have a Touch, just an IPod, but whenever I have podcast issues, I unsubscribe. You could unsubscribe. Then subscribe again and choose the shows you want to be downloaded (don't just get them all.) Good luck!

You likely have it set to download all podcasts. You need to plug in your iPod Touch, go into the iPod Touch on iTunes and change your settings. Unchecking the boxes only works when you use the settings "sync checked items only."

make sure you have auto sync off on itunes or it will do it to you every time. with auto sync off then you can go in and manualy edit everything you want on you itouch.
