Ok, I have to tell SOMEONE!!

DH and I just found out that we're gonna have a baby!!!!!

We're not telling family yet because we had a miscarriage last year, and want to make sure this one is gonna go to term before we tell people. So.. it so happens that I'll be at the end of my first trimester when we're in Disney. I plan on getting some cute onsies or some frames and putting the sonogram pictures in them, then give those to our parental units to tell them that we're pregnant. I don't know if I can make it that long.. gonna do everything I can though!

Just had to share, cuz if I don't tell someone I'm going to explode!

We've already started talking names, and I know how I want to decorate the nursery. We decided to wait until the baby is born to find out the gender, he thinks it'll be more fun that way and I kinda agree! Luckily, the way I want to decorate is gender neutral.. I want frogs in the nursery! I've seen some really adorable sets for frogs, and frogs happen to be one of my favorite animals. Hubby's dad is a master carpenter, and we want to ask him to build us a changing table. We'd talked to him about it when we were pregnant last year, and he really wanted to do it for us. I already know I'm getting a crib from my best friend, she's used the same one for all 3 of her kids so it's safe, in good shape, and really nice looking. Just need a mattress and we'll be set!

Is it bad we're already making lists of names?

Love the frog idea for the nursery. With the new Disney movie coming out over the holidays - The Princess and the Frog - you could even mesh a little Disney in that nursery! I was just at the Disney store yesterday and they had a bunch of frogs . . .

And no, it's not at all strange that you're already talking names! When we found out we were pregnant with our first - we spent a couple of days at my parents' place in the mountains. No cell phones, no internet, no television. Just a weekend with DH and the Baby Name Book. We went through the entire book page and page, highlighting the names we liked and creating our first list of possibilities. Enjoy the moment and this time - it's truly magical.

I also suffered a miscarriage (with my second) and thereafter waited to tell until my second trimester. The "just between us" time for you and your husband can be magical....BTW we picked the name for our 3rd on the day I took the pregnancy test! It's never too early!
