You have to check into your hotel room first to get your key to the world card which has your park tickets and dining plan on it. Check in is usually at 3 but you can show up early and if your room is ready they will let you in if not you can store your luggage at luggage storage and go into the park from there. They will give you your key to the world card even if your room is not ready. You will be given a time to call back to check if your room is ready. At that time they will give you your room number. Either way you will have to stop at your hotel first to check in. This is the only way to get your park tickets and dining credits.

Your trip should be paid for before you arrive. Disney requires full payments 45 days in advance of arrival.

If you have booked dinner shows you can pick up your tickets for those at the front desk as well. If you are using the dining plan for those meals they will not remove the credits until you pick the tickets up. If you are not using the dining plan they will have already charged you at the time of booking.

So I am not sure what you would be paying for upon arrival?

If you have any other questins feel free to ask. Planning that first trip can be very overwhelming.

you can check in at the resort befor 4 you room may not be ready but they will put your tickits on you room card and give you a phone number to call and check back later to see if your room is ready then you can leave you bags with the frount desk and go have fun when your rooms ready they will put your bags in it

Thank you! I dident know you had to pay in full before you go. Can you send a money order or something or does it have to be a credit card? Thanks :)

I am sure you can send a money order or check. Just be sure to send it far enough in advance that it will get there in time. Also if you have a debit card with the visa logo you can use that as well. You can probably also pay with check over the phone. It does not have to be a major credit card though.

Thanks for your help :)

No problem glad to be able to help. If you have any other questions dont hesitate to ask. People are great about helping on these boards. If it were not for these boards our first trip would have been a disaster. There is just too much to know about Disney.

Have a great trip. Try not to rush rush rush once you get there and take time to take it all in. That first trip is very overwhelming as you do not realize until you are there how big the place really is.

Thank you! I dident know you had to pay in full before you go.

If you're booking a package, you must pay in full 45 days prior to your arrival. If you had a room-only reservation you could just pay the deposit and wait until you arrive to pay the rest.

As others mentioned, you can check in as early as you like, but your room may not be ready. For our first trip (also at POP  ), we checked in around 11 and our room was ready so that was a nice surprise. We are going again this May and wanted to do morning EMH the first day, so we would have to check in to get our tickets by 7am.

We are also arriving in the area the day before. We were thinking of staying with family to save money, but just called to add an extra night to our reservation. We decided that it would be much more relaxing to check in at POP that evening, swim, and rest after our 20hr drive. That way we can get up in the morning and just head straight to the parks. I'm not sure when you're going (room prices vary by season), but you may find that the price difference between POP and a cheaper Orlando hotel isn't worth the hassle of checking out and in and reloading your stuff into your vehicle before your first day at the parks. :upsidedow

I take that you are driving if so just leave luggage in vehicle just make sure you have everything you need to go into the parks that 1st day. We usually check in around 8am
