Are there any other Disney in DEC vets who just cant get enough of those roasted almonds that you can get during the christmas season.

There is nothing better than looking at the osbourne Lights and eating those tasty things. Anyone else know what i am talking about!!!!!!

We have never been in December! Please tell me more! Are they hot? Are they salted? Sweet? Where can I get them? Bag? Box? Truckload?

My stepmom loves these things. I know they have something on them (sugar & cinnamon??). We have to get them everytime we go in December.

If you are talking about the glazed almonds, I just had some this past Sunday in Epcot.

THey are hot and sweet with cinnamon and sugar and I didnt know you could get them other times also.

I guess since i have only been in the winter that I have learned something today :-)

But anyway they are AWSOME and smell as good as they taste

I dont eat them but my 14 yr old is hopelessly hooked!! He scours ever park for them, WDW, Universal, Sea World!

They were serving roasted chestnuts in 2002. Yuck:eek: Nice song, lousy snack::yes::

Okay, now my mouth is watering! I love almonds! I'll surely be on the lookout for them when we go!

They are the best and you can smell them from a mile away. YUMMY!!!!!! :cool1:

Have Cashews too?
I remember getting 2 bags one of each kind of nut.. YUMMY!!
And that was in Oct durning the Food and Wine

Oh yeah, we love them too! We love the pecans also. We know where every cart that sells them are located in the World.

I was able to find an easy recipe to make at home that is pretty darn close to them.
Anyone interested I will be more than happy to post it.

Yes please!

I make these at Christmas and given them out to co-workers.

Cinnamon-Glazed Almonds

1/3 cup butter
2 egg whites
salt
1cup sugar
3 cups blanched almonds
4 teaspoons cinnamon

Place butter on 15- x 10-inch jellyroll pan and heat in 325F oven
until butter melts, about 7 minutes. Meanwhile, beat egg whites
with dash of salt until frothy, then gradually add sugar, beating to
stiff peaks. Gently fold in almonds and cinnamon. Pour almond
mixture into jellyroll pan and stir, coating with butter. Bake,
stirring every 10 minutes, until almonds are crisp, about 40 minutes.
Serve warm or at room temperature. Makes 3 cups.
