Ok I found the perfect Mickey Border!!

So heres the plan, Im going to paint 3 walls yellow and one short wall red and use this border

we have black sconces on the wall as it which I used to hate but I think I can pull it off now. Im going to put all of the Disney lithographs in black frames...

What else shoudl I do? Any ideas?

You have great taste! We have the same border in the kids bathroom. The walls are bright yellow. I have Mickey pictures on the walls, and red towels.

Here is an idea for your socket covers and lite switches. I bought some Mickey scrapbooking paper with small Mickey heads on it. I decopaged the paper on the covers and lite switches using half glue/water so it would not leave bumps under the paper and then covered it with clear craft polyurethane spray to make it water proof. They look great! (use tiny fingernail scissors to cut out the holes for the switches and sockets and fold over towards the back to cover the whole cover) I hope I made sense on how to cover them. It is real easy.

thanks Im really looking forward to it. I have A LOT of prep work on this room the guy before us had a home theatre in there and it was terrible! there are holes all over the place for wires etc. not nicely cut holes either big gaping-shove-the-wires-through holes that are 4 inches square LOTS of wall patches


Im trying to talk dh into selling the 15 foot sectional we have in there between that and the entertainment centre there isnt much room for anything else. plus we still have two of the guys theatre sound panels on the walls so those will come down too.

I like that border. Don't know how I would feel about yellow walls, though.
