OK...I finally did it!!

Tonight was laundry night for me, and when I got done...........

I threw away all my "fat" pants!

I had been holding onto them out of that ole fear that I would once again fail, and need them. Well.......

To heck with that mind-set!

I am not going to allow myself to get that big EVER AGAIN!!

The Atkins LIFESTYLE has taken root here, and it truly is going to be my lifestyle from now on.



Now all I have to do is wrestle my Mastercard away from Kelsie after she swiped it in WISH Chat the other night, and I can go shop for new clothes!

John, I think that getting rid of those "fat" clothes is the right thing to do! You are telling yourself, "never again". Many of us (me included!) have wardrobes in all sorts of sizes, and it is kind of self-defeating if you ask me. I LOVE your positivity!

Wonderful job John!! But, one has to wonder (and do the math), if you purchased one new pair of pants and threw out your "fat pants" I guess I had better give you back that MC.

There is a small probelm though! Last time I used it, the travel agency said something about "you have exceeded your credit limit"

Good for you! Letting go of the "old" self is very hard to do.

I have friend who has lost quite a bit of weight and I told her to box it up and get rid of the old clothes. She said she won't... "just in case she needs them". I told her she is giving herself permission to gain the weight back.

You on the other hand have embraced the new habbits and have truly made that lifestyle change. We are all very proud of you!!!

WTG John! I was about to post the same thing. I just finished (YEAH i know it's midnight.LOL) putting all my out grown clothes up for sale on ebay. Your positive position on this WOE is such an inspiration for me. I've been going at it for most of 10 months now --- but have strayed and that is why I'm only down 30 pounds. But since the start of WISH and meeting such wonderful people like you it has restored my faith!

Way to go !! 40 pounds is my goal, so I'm very jealous of you, but also very motivated by you.

Giving up my fat clothes is going to be a challenge. I think I always feel like I'm going to need them again.

I held on to my "skinny" pants for 10 years. They were a size 1. It was so hard for me to face that I would never see that size again. Now, I'm just thrilled that I could buy a 12 and they fit nicely.
