Ok-I finally decided! Windsor Palms WINS!

If we are too tired to shop the first night, is there somewhere we can get dinner in Windsor Palms?

ICF is correct that Windsor doesn't have a restaurant, but the shop at the clubhouse does sell food basics and frozen dinners if you want to go that route. I'm not sure what the store hours are though.

The Formosa Gardens shopping center has Giordano's which is a decent family Italian restaurant. I think there are a couple of other restaurants there also. The whole 192 strip is nothing but hotels, restaurants and souvenir shops basically.

hey i am gone for a day and i come back to learn sooo much about windsor palms! cool-keep giving me the info!

Can you believe that Winn Dixie has no donuts???? My sis and I stopped in there last Friday to buy a couple from the bakery, and there was not one to be found!!! I thought maybe they had just sold them all for the day, but I didn't even see a case for them.

We went down the Publix mentioned above (the Orange Lake one) and got some instead. Yum, they were good!!!

We stayed at this exact floorplan house in WP last spring break!

I started out thinking I would rent from an owner directly, but ended up with the mgmt co matching the vrbo rate.

We never even used the community center.

Stay away from the Goodings at the shopping center at the light! It was smallish-darkish, and way more expensive than it should have been!

There was an Outback Steakhouse at the same shopping center, we ate there several times, of convenience more than anything else.

The "shortcut" road is also clearly marked.

Enjoy your visit!
