How did you sign up for Diamond Lane? Do you have to be an owner or can anyone do it?

Hi there,

You can sign up for Diamond Lane on the Vistana website http://www.starwoodvo.com/resorts/guests.jsp?resortID=5 . I'm pretty sure you don't have to be an owner but perhaps someone can confirm this.

I am not an owner and I was able to sign up for the diamond lane. I did get a confirmation back from them, so I guess I am all set without making a phone call.

You do not need to make a call and you do not need to be an owner (you used to have years ago when DL first started). You can follow-up with a fax to the resort (to the attention of the Vistana Room Controller) maybe 2-3 days prior to check-in, but it's not necessary : Fax (407) 239-3111

It took about 1-2 weeks for me to get my confirmation too. Off to do some packing - we fly out at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow!

Because it's a timeshare (apartment style) they do "light cleaning" mid way through your week free of charge. The day varies dependeing on which day you checked in.

As for breakfast...only if you cook it.
