Who's going in March???

We'll be there from the 1st to the 10th of March! I'm getting very excited

We're staying at the Parkvue Inn and also doing some sightseeing of L.A.

You might notice that my countdown timer is a little out. Well it's actually couting down until we leave for the states. We're seeing NYC first and that will be followed by Anaheim. As you can see by my countdown timer, I'm obviously considering the whole trip as "My Disneyland Trip"

Come on! Someone get excited with me!

I am excited!!!! We will be going to DL on March 7th and staying until the 12th. This is our first trip to DL and I am really looking forward to it.

Hi!

We will be there on the 4th through to the 11th! I can't wait! Staying at HoJo's for the first time!

We actually leave on February 29th but since we are driving from Canada - have to make a few stops ... our trip consists of circling around via the west coast but I prefer to think of this as my Disney trip!

I too can hardly contain my excite ment!! I am a disney fan-atic, and I haven't been to any park since my Best Friend was married at the GF in FL in 2001.

We will be there March 22-29!!!!! YEAH!!!!

DD6 can not wait to meet Cinderella and I think that will be the highlight of the trip for the 2 of us!!

I'll be at DL for my first DL trip March 1-3...& I can't wait either! I'm hoping to spend some time maybe the 2nd doing some other CA stuff, never been to CA at all.....What are your plans?

We arrive on the 1st and will spend the afternoon looking around Anaheim, getting some groceries and visiting DTD.

The 2nd is our first full day at DLR. I've been to DL back in 95, but it's my boyfriends 1st time. So we'll both be excited to see lots of new things.

The 3rd we're doing a sight seeing tour of L.A and doing a bit of the touristy thing.

The 4th and 5th is DLR again, the 6th we'll probably head back the L.A again to spend more time at places we felt we didn't get enough time at on the 3rd.

The 7th, 8th and 9th is all DLR time, and depending on whether we upgrade to annual passes during our time there we might come back on the 10th, because we don't have to be at the airport until arond 6pm. If we don't upgrade I'm sure we'll find something to do...

I haven't planned anything for the NYC side of the trip yet, because I'm not sure what the whether will be like. We've sort of decided that if it's a good day then we'll just get out and do stuff. We will do a hop on hop off type tour at some stage.

FYI...we've been to WDW during Christmas week.

So excited, staying to Disneyland Hotel w/my wife, mother and our DD's first Disneyland trip!

Where are you staying in NY? My dh is from NY, so we've been there a zillion times...Have you been there before? Some things I would suggest if you're staying in the NYC area...
Grenwich Village - Has great food & GREAT local bars/music type area
Statue of Liberty - Just beautiful
Empire State Building - if the view is clear, it's spectacular (the pizza place right next door - looks like a dive but has the BEST Ny pizza)
The MET - if you like art, it's got some beautiful collections
Central Park - if it's really cold, a nice horse & carriage ride thru would be a nice thing.

If it's cold, just bundle up!!!

What LA tour are you doing? I guess I don't even know where to look for stuff to do beyond DL? I'm only going to have 3 days & I know 2 of those I want to spend at DL & DCA (& one evening is club33)....so I'd like to do something fun with that other 3/4 of a day....is there a website that you booked your tour from?

That was so me last year....every morning I saw that chain I wanted to take one off THEN...not that night

my kids are excited but I'm the biggest kid here! I jump up every morning to wake up my little girl so she can tear one off. I even have a Disney notebook I carry in my purse w/ lists of what to bring, buy, and pack! We have 2 Disney outlet stores here and I swear I have been there every weekend! I think my co workers are excited for me too. They ask me all the time How many days?

When we do our NYC leg of the trip we're actually staying in Orange Connecticut, but my DFIL works in, I think he said Brooklyn, a couple of days a week, and he gets put up in a hotel when he's there, so we're going to go in with him when he goes in for a free hotel!

We're booking our L.A tour through Grayline. I haven't actually booked it yet, but I will shortly.

You're going to Club 33! How lucky are you? Even if we could get in, I don't think we could afford it this time...

WE ARE!! Only its a surprise. Don't tell my kids!! We are flying into Burbank from Utah, and staying in Garden Grove. Also we are traveling with grandparents, and friends with their two kids, plus me, my hubbie and our 4 boys! Only our oldest knows we are going, he had to get the time off work. We are arriving on the 4th and staying til the 8th of March. I can't wait!! It's hard not to tell my 11 year old son. He would be soooo excited (he thinks we are going in December) But, I don't have to answer the how many days left questions from my 5 year old!! lol. It is my kids first time to fly, usually we drive. I almost think they are more excited about the plane trip. YEAH - less than 2 months to go.
