I'm gettin' old.
Not REALLY old, but hey-- I'm 41. And my DSes are 7 & 5. I used to love every kind of ride... period. But now I can't ride Mission Space, Some roller coasters(primeval whirl, ie)-- even the friggin teacups make me motion sick! I went to DisneyQuest and did two virtual attractions-- magic carpets and rafting and I had to quit! Please... cool cool air, cool air... concentrate, concentrate, cool air... I feel like Jeff Goldblum on Independence Day!
I'm not talkin about heavin on anybody's shoes, but a get nauseous, get a headache and feel "out of sorts" for hours after going on them.
Would Dramamine help me? I want to go on all these rides because I do love them, but I'm paying a price these days.... I'm 7 weeks from free dining-- any tips?

However, I am eager to try the new version that does not have the centrifugal force that caused so many people to feel ill. Disney now has given folks a choice of riding the original or the new version. Really depends on which line you choose to stand in.

Strangely, most roller coasters are fine - I love roller coasters, as long as they don't propel me backward - but flying was a little disconcerting last time. I tried supposedly non-drowsy Bonine on our first trip in 2002, but have never been so dopey in my life! I couldn't stand up - was draped over the rail in every line, couldn't even hold my head up! I've seen ads for the relief bands but thought they were pricey, so I'm trying the more primitive Sea Bands that I picked up for a few bucks at the
